Guest guest
Hi, I think the Shan Han Lun 6 Stages are #2. Taiyang/yangming/Shaoyang/Taiyin/Shaoyin/Jueyin, with subdivisions, and sometimes followed by cold attacking yin interior Huanjue, then yin and yang separating with interior cold changing to heat in torso blocking yang qi/channels Rejue. Scince stages can be skipped or lingered in, or it can be observed that the pathology could ignore the diagnostic model protocol, several other syndrome differentiation models were developed: 4 Level, San Jiao, Bing Ji, and so on. The long febrile epidemiological history of China has a record of a 5th century outbreak where 7 out of 10 people were taken. In that record, it mentioned that garlic was attributed to the survival of many. The fact that this occured in north central China may have been a factor, as well as other conditions - including also a definite identification of the pathogen, altho the usual scenario(poverty/ nutrition, poor sanitation, stresses of war etc)that accompany and preclude epidemics is probable. I wonder if some of the more accomplished experienced practitioners can tell me if modern clinical presentation/progression is different now than in the past. Strong evil qi- and weak defensive qi. I agree with the proposition that many people today have subclinical chronic Shaoyang condition that alters or confuses the overall presentation. The bitter may or may not be noticable. Maybe the origins are slight biochemical, and emotional imbalances. Liver depression, making liver qi stagnation, causing heat. What happens. Depression, fatigue, and low grade fever. Complaints can range from emotion-anger and sadness, pain -qi stag pantalgia and various auto-immune disorders, fatigue, L.G. fever, digestive disorders, heat rising to anscestral qi-hrt and lung discomfort meaning slight lung heat asthma and possible heartbeat irregularities that seem panicky, migraines, etc. Most telling sign may be yo-yo shen, fever, weird pains, or exhaustion due to prolonged subclinical imbalance robbing organism of vital resources. Chai hu, Huang Qi, and Ren Shen may help, Chuan Lian Zi may be more exact. Clinical strategy to be relieve liver depression, move qi, and clear heat. Thoughts, please? peace, fran This is the third time I've tried to present this for feedback. Is my computer malfunctioning or is this group consensus?
