What is goldstone really? I think it is pretty but, I have never

actually bothered to purchase it because I know it is man made.

Does it have any metaphysical purpose?

I once had someone in a shop try to tell me it was a " natural

stone " . They did not appreciate it when I fell over laughing at them.

Another odd thing I wanted to ask about, amytrine? Heating amythst to

make citrine. Is amitrine natural or is it merely heat treated

amythyst?

I have seen clear quartz that had been irradiated to make it

into smokey quartz too. Usually it is very dark, most smoky quartz is

not that dark in color.

I'm no expert, but I am under the impression that ametrine is natural. If

someone knows the facts, I'd love to hear about it!!

 

Mine are approx. 1 inch chunks of amethyst with just small citrine inclusions.
