Guest guest
I have a friend that is moving. She has a devotion to the Virgin Mary. I would like to buy a stone that would honor this devotion yet remind her of me and my love for stones. Does anyone have any ideas of a stone for this situation? Also, what do you think about the stones that have pictures (angels, etc.) etched in them? Are they just decorative or do they have special significance? You are probably going to say " if I believe they do, then they do. " I value your opinions, so let me know. Thanks, Barb

I got it in santa cruz Calif. Lucky you, The prices I've been quoted have been very high , the only gem silica I have is a little fingernail sized part of a mixed slab (Malachite, Chryscolla, Azurite and other) that was essentialy given me by an ritual tool maker. As for Marian stones, Most of the clear aqua and blue stones and some pink ones pink ruby even rose quartz have been attributed to Mary at one time or another all kinds of stones including pearls ,emeralds and sapphire have been so designated over the last 2000 years.
