I used to do this much more often than I feel is needed at this point. I even used to program my Bingen to heal, which would tickle her immensely, as she only (such a limiting word!) heals. It sounds like you haven't reached a definitive conclusion as to what type of crystal " Steve " is. I recall you said he was orange or redish in color. Tangerine quartz is definitely orange. No mistaking it. Red quartz is of a darker hue and can be red to orange/red. The color can be included or coated.
