Guest guest
Yes, I do like goldstone, and I had a beautiful blue goldstone bracelet till recently (my 2 year old yanked on it a bit too hard!). It was home-made, bought from an auction site ($3.00, lasted long enough to be worth it, definitely)--but I wore it constantly and the band just gave out after so many tugs and snags. I found all of the beads and kept them though. I might make myself something else out of them. I was considering buying the piece that was offered in the " natural " ad anyway--because I (thought I) knew better. . .but I decided against it. I really liked it, but didn't like the thought of buying from someone who either didn't know what they were talking about, or who were trying to deceive people. It was a beautiful pyramid, though! I wouldn't part with my Aqua Auras either. . .even knowing the process they go through to obtain their beauty. I still find them very useful. I'm sure I have other man-made, or processed pieces. . .just can't think of them all right now. I know I have a piece of fake turquoise (it is howlite, dyed blue). I also have one other piece that looks like it might be fake, but I can't be sure. The real piece I have is quite small--I'm sure it's real, though. Samstress, when I saw that many negatives on their feedback, I decided that I'd never buy anything from them, no matter what. It's not a big percentage, but it sounds like a lot, and is enough to keep me out of their " store " . :-) BTY & Y, Ahreinya
