There is a place between Ocean Springs and Gautier called " The Eagle's

Nest " I think. It is on Hwy 90 and if you are heading east, it is on

the left hand side. They are not open on Sundays. They have a decent

selection, but I have seen better. Other than that, I actually started

my collection by hitting a few of the souvenier shops down here. A lot

of them sell not only shells, but gemstones as well.

There is also a beadshop on Pass Road that sells gemstone beads ...

but I am sure that is not what you are looking for. I just found it

nice to find a place that sold real gemstone beads as opposed to

painted glass or plastic ...

Hope this helps.

Shoot me an email before you come to town next time and maybe we could

meet for dinner or something.

Blessings

Jen

E-bay has many gemstones for sale. I have ordered a few with good results. I

Thanks Jen. It might be about 6 months before I take another trip to gulfport

because my daughter is planning to get married next march and I don't have any

money saved up for the wedding. Can crystals be placed on top of the slot

machines to get them to pay out instead of taking all my money. HEHE, just

joking of course. I saw some stones that were shapped like easter eggs in one of

those souvenier shops for about three dollars apiece. Would they be worth

purchasing? Buy the way my wife thinks I am going nuts with all the healthy

things I am trying to regain my health. Talking my wife into a visit with you

might be difficult to accomplish. I have been taking sunbaths naked. drinking

suncharged water, juicning the grass from my yard, drinking rain water and

eating raw foods, and a few other things I probally shouldn't mention right now.

I guess now you think I am nuts, hehehe well any way she thinks I have lost it

and if I tell her i want to visit a lady with healing crystals I don't

know how she will react. Will get back with you though.

I know you are joking, but I believe Citirine is used to bring in prosperity :P

Wouldn't hurt to put one in your pocket when you go to the casino. *hehe*

I have heard of weirder things, I assure you. I can also tell you of

several whole food/health shops in the area if you would like info on

those.

I myself am a reiki II practitioner, and into herbs, aromatherapy,

homeopathy, bach flower remedies, massage, in addition to the

gemstones. My husband has a habbit of referring to me as " Hippy Chick "

.... which coming from a devout republican marine is kinda funny...

As to the easter egg stones, my only advice is to pick them up and

hold them ... if they speak to you, then they are worth purchasing. I

can't tell you the number of times I have purhased an item from

" weird " sources just because of numerology or feelings I got from an

item. In fact I'd say 90% of my altar was acquired that way.

Hope this helps.

Oh boy I have found a way to beat the casinos,LOL I never had a rock

speak to me but I guess I havn't been listening. From what I gather so far you

take a crystal and put it in the sunlight and then take the crystal and put it

next to your body and you get healed. Is my understanding correct?
