Guest guest
hi there, i'll try to answer your question briefly since i'm a newbie too in tcm. hunger after meals usually caused by excessive fire in the stomach,so the food is digested too fast. you can find the answer in the zang fu bian zheng section in every tcm books or you can find the answer in the zheng zhuang jian bie,i dont know what's the english translation of this book,it explains every symptoms from the tcm point of view. tsui meng fai The New with improved product search
Guest guest
An answer to the questions: When I say that I have hunger after a meal, this is definitely NOT a craving, but an actual pain-like sensation in the stomach that usually means hunger. I want to differentiate this hunger from appetite. When I get this hunger I don't have any desire to actually eat, only this nagging pain-hunger (but not really pain and not quite hunger) keeps telling me to eat. Someone here suggested that this may be Stomach Fire (Heat), but it is not. Stomach fire affects the stomach downbearing and thus has " up " symptoms, such as pain or burning in the stomach duct, vomiting, clamoring stomach, and hard stool. I have none of these symptoms, sp this is not Stomach heat. What else can it be? Guest guest
It might be a blockage or ulcer or reaction to something in there, like ground glass poisoning? What else can it be? How about cold in the Stomach? Your symptoms fit that. If you relayed to tongue and pulse qualities I missed it so maybe you could do that. No symptoms exist in a vacuum so some real understanding of your whole health/lifestyle might also provide a clue. Do you live near another practitioner who could read your pulses?
