One of the earliest experiments Peggy posted, when this list began, was to

find a stone, somewhere, anywhere, and listen to what it might have to say

to us.

 

It is probably still in the files, if you'll go look.

Hi Junomoon,

 

I can't really answer that last question, since I'm much less experienced

than you. However, I was wondering which beach you went to. RI has a lot of

moonstone (especially on Moonstone Beach in South County). It's usually

peach color. I also often find quartz with craters in it in which small

crystals are visible. So you might want to have your stones looked at if you

aren't an expert at identification.
