Yep. Decisions. For example, this morning I went for breakfast with Lynn and Jack. I met them at the restaurant and Lyn told me to look to " my left " . And I did and I saw one of my old students, a man that was a good student for about 20 years, and whom I'd given a $$,$$$ scholarship to, to go back to college. Then he'd attempted to steal my students away from me. A very strong Christian. (that is NOT a pun.) Any way, he was wasted away. A thin 'gray' shadow of his former national champion self. I just dismissed him and continued eating my egg omlette. When done, we all got up and I went to pay the bill. When done, I turned around and the old student was standing there waiting for me. I looked at him saying, " Well XXX, we are both getting old, aren't we. " His reply, " I just wanted to thank you for all that you taught me. " There were tears in his eyes. He then told me about his cancer, his surgery, his prospects, etc. I looked at him and said, " You know any thing about energy medicine? " " No " . " Well, get a $16 book by Donna Eden called " Energy Medicine', read it, and when done reading it, if you want my help, give me a call. " I shook his hand and left. So, group, what is going to happen? What did happen?
Guest guest
You helped him by giving him a chance to help himself. It was a test. To see if he TRULY wanted help or if he was just looking for a hand out. If he truly wants to better himself he would go get the book (or at least read it somehow) and come back to you with more questions. If he wanted you to give him something for nothing he’ll go home, feel sorry for himself, and curse you for being “unchristian”. And he would have completely missed the IMMENSE generosity and kindness (not to mention “Christian” charity) you just showed him. After all you gave him friendship, knowledge, and opportunities once before and he screwed it up. He betrayed you. Yet now in his time of need, you give him another chance...the same chance you would give someone you never even met before. No bitterness, no sense of vindictiveness, no ill will. What could be more generous than that? Mike On 9/9/06 3:31 PM, " docspeed2001 " <docspeed2001 wrote: <%40> , " James R.
