Guest guest
>Does anyone know of any simple, effective home remedies for psoriasis on the scalp? - Yes and no, it depends... Psoriasis, is a condition, not a disease, and like inflammation can have many unrelated causes and remedies. On the Energetic front the Yellow Emperor said all skin disorders are rooted in the liver, so I would try sedating the liver meridian. Liver is a Yin meridian involved in detoxing the body and so it's natural flow is outward. Tracing the liver meridian gently outward may work in some cases but if it aggravates the disorder it needs to be cooled inward. If in doubt, massaging gently back and forth helps. And remember Doc.'s dictum, it's of no value to trace unmindfully, you must engage your intent. On the bio chemical front, most soaps are alkaline [high PH] and this irritates and drys the skin. A simple rinse of vinegar following a shampoo often lowers the PH and relieves psoriasis and dandruff [watch out for your eyes]. And healthful oils, internally, help; Lots of High Quality Omega 3. rusty - mooman92 Friday, September 08, 2006 11:00 AM psoriasis remedy Does anyone know of any simple, effective home remedies for psoriasis on the scalp? I started shaving my head a few months ago and found that I had a red patch of skin at the base of my skull. Although I don't do it now, I remember in the past when I would get nervous or anxious, I would rub my head in the same exact spot. I did an internet search and the description and symptoms seem to match psoriasis. Any help will be appreciated.
Guest guest
Tar shampoo, cocoa butter, clover tea, compresses with Comfrey/clover, consuming oils of Evening Primrose, fish, flax, CLA/GLA, daily shampoo, calming meditations, EFT, Quantum Touch, massage, loving thoughts. No white flour, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, citrus, shellfish, etc. Yes to Vegees, fruits, whole grains, balanced proteins, carbs and oils. Manage your stress. Good luck! I have managed this well for most of my lifetime. When I slip it is because I have forgotten to take care of myself.
