My IMPRESSIONS I got was that the problem was from a past lifetime that has

carried over to this one. I, of course, do not have any way to verify it

historically -- ie prove that so and so was such and such back 100+ years ago.

The Theosophical writings might indicate that a person does not return that

quickly, but memory of one's own past life, and the examination of accounts of

others indicates that the entity returns at the moment best suited for specific

types of lessons.

So, for example, those who sent troops into Texas in order to " pick a fight "

with Mexico so they could send an entire ARMY down there to steal Texas from

Mexico on the pretexts of " self-defense " might possibly return at this time and

have problems with illegal immigrants.

Germans from the last World War might return soon after to see and learn the

results of what they did. Or Soviets might return to learn the consequences of

their actions and get a better perspective. The Czars might return to learn the

world-wide consequences their action of ignoring their subjects had.

Who am I to say how the learnings might or might not take place.

Cerminara's book has some interesting ideas on that topic.

Well, it was how to work on someone without getting thrown in jail. It was

about being able to CALIBRATE to know whether what you're doing to influence the

person is good for them or not, and if not, how to notice and do something else

that DOES help them. And it was about having the right motives when you help

someone.

And you helped them because of friendship.
