For example I have a Silva Educator that actually reads brain waves off of both frontal lobes. Some people use a galvantic skin response device that has a sound attached to it. The deeped you get, the more the change in sound. What did you use to verify? Hopefully it was NOT emotions. Emotions are fickle. COMFORT ZONES are fickle. In fact in my opinion COMFORT ZONES hold more people back from learning and evolving than anything else. But then again I love to get better, and better and better and better and better and better than any one else on the planet. AND if you are comfortable with where you are, GREAT! Some want to not learn but to be comfortable. But me, I do motorcycle ride on the roads BUT THE MOST FUN is to take to the dirt and do crazy things...to feel the thrill of life...and NOT the comfort of highway driving. Then again that ex-client of mind won't even drive now because if she drives that means she is mentally competent and might/will lose her disability. She can't let that happen, can she? Guest guest
No, I don't have a whiz-bang gizmo to measure brain waves. On the other hand, I can easily notice what's going on with my body and mind. Emotion? When I'm doing " emotion " ( " good " or " bad " ) I'm not at level, it pops me right out. Now, other people might have a different experience or describe it differently, but what I notice about going to Level is a sort of smoothing out. At beta, it's like being in a boat on choppy water--interesting, maybe exciting, but bumping and bouncing around all over the place. At alpha, and more so at theta, it's like being in a canoe on a lake at glass-off. If I really examine it, I'll notice that breath, heart, energy rhythms and even the almost constant sound I hear not only harmonize, but come into resonance. Not sure what you're getting at about " comfort zones " but yes, I find being at Level (alpha or theta) very comfortable.
