Guest guest
So many of my friends have ruined the surfaces of their crystals (lost luster, etc.) because they " cleansed " them by soaking them in salt solutions or burying them in salt crystals. It only takes a scant pinch of salt in water and a few seconds to interrupt a crystal's current energy flow (scientifically speaking), cleansing them of negative vibrations and making them ready to reprogram (metaphysically). I have the best luck using a bowl of whole grain brown rice. I simply rest the crystal(s) on the rice until I feel they are " cleansed " . The rice self-cleanses, as crystals come and go, but to be safe I have a Mt. Shasta Firestone in the rice bowl (which naturally transmutes negative energy into positive) as well as a wee cluster of self-cleansing honey calcite. If I am in a hurry, I simply smudge the crystal(s) with incense smoke. Whenever there is a full moon, I make certain to place the bowl where it can soak up the cleansing/charging moonlight! I also have issued strong cautions about using salt or salt water or even plain water soaks there is a large file about clearing crystals in the files can I add your suggestion about brown rice I don't think I have encountered that one before Peggy -- http://solarraven.com/ Huna, Angels, Crystals, fairies, the aura, Reiki manuals, art http://www.geocities.com/pjentoft/index.html Spirited emotion} http://members.tripod.com/~sunsparrow/index.html Heretic Sanctuary http://people.we.mediaone.net/skygreen/index.html
