Guest guest
Barbara Ann, What do you want to learn at the seminar? If you were to segment intend on a specific goal, or set of key goals, you might find that you know what to do to be better prepared automatically. If you start doing something and it gets easier and easier as you progress down the path, you have found the right road. You have started some very good things. Knowing your own meridians and how to use what they offer to improve you health can be a real key to optimizing you own abilities. Beyond cleansing and building your energy meridians, you might have to do the same thing with your pyshical, emotional, and though fields... What do you think? Bridging through different planes of thought with the Silva UltraMind ESP Remote Viewing and Remote Influence CD or tape course can give you more options that you have had in the past. And as your continue to progress and use the process automatically in everything you do, you will have accurate and power intuition and influence... if you choose too. Are you doing the Donna Eden 5 minute energy routine? How many times a day do you need to do it optimize your energies and getting them really humming? Do you know? If you could, how would you? If the weather is good, you might find the drill more powerful while outside... and barefoot in grass, in a park with wise old trees... Have your heard of rebouders? Rebounding can provide quick and powerful lymphatic flushing... Can you rebound for 5 minutes or more a day? Mabye right before you practice the centering drill or during the wonderful hidden meanings of the preconditionings stories? If you have been following some of Doc's recent posts on any of his , he has given some basic and advanced reference materials for you too read and study. You might think about which book or author really ressonates with your thoughts and feelings... which ones do you recall right now? Look in the past postings or archives to this group or Doc's other groups... you might have to keep hitting " search " in the search tool.... " seminar " " reference " " preparation " Off to actively meditate on my key goal, Greg R. , " barbara101ann " <barbara101ann> wrote: > What else can I do to be better prepared for doc's upcoming 3 dayer? > > I'm studying my meridians really hard, getting ready for doc's seminar. > I'm also going over his remote viewing esp cds. > > What else can I do to be better prepared? > > Barbara Ann
Guest guest
I've been to 3 of Doc's Seminars. To be better prepared for his seminars, at a minumum it helped me to: Be familiar with the RVRI course, or how to go to level. Be familiar with the Energy Medicine book and well practiced in the 5 minute energy drill and meridians. Be familiar with Energy Psychology or EFT or similar Read some of the NLP books Doc has recommended, or at a bare minimum be familiar with what anchoring is and how anchors work. Have some understanding of Huna. At the seminar it helped me to: PRACTICE during, immediately after, and long after the seminar is over with. I and many others had a lot of fun practicing energy testing and other things we learned during breaks and after the seminar each day. You can immediately integrate what you learned each day at the seminar into what you do every day. The seminars are videoed and I bought the DVD's from the seminars that I went to....well worth every cent. There's a huge amount of information on them that I will be using for years to come. Doc will often have a discussion/lecture on something then will demonstrate an exercise with someone, then we break into groups and practice it. Those group practice sessions don't get videoed, but you have the demo he does beforehand and the follow-up discussions, plus all the other things he discusses on video to refer back to. I will admit that I took very few notes of the actual seminars (I know most of it is captured on DVD) instead prefering to pay very close attention to what Doc does and says during the seminars. By paying close attention and immersing myself into what is going on I pick up subtle things that might be missed if I am focusing my " beta " attention on writing notes. Most of the notes I took were from things I learned during breaks, things that I personally observed or got feedback on, things that didn't usually get captured on video. But that's my personal learning style and may not be for everyone... I was a little worried about taking notes during the seminar as I'm not a fast writer and would have a hard time concentrating. So your method would be best, especially since I can buy the DVD's afterwards. Thanks for posting this Lori. Guest guest
I was a " career student " for quite a time and inadvertently stumbled upon some " unique " ways to learn with bare minimum effort :-) There was this one class I had that was mainly lectured material, no demonstrations and the professor hardly ever wrote anything on the board, but he was an excellent speaker. I really liked the class and would sit way in the back with my eyes closed and just listen, never took notes, just followed his voice and the imagery that often popped into my mind along with it. Once the professor realized I wasn't sleeping in his class he was OK with it and let me be. Now that I think about it, when I had my eyes closed during that class I was probably learning while I was in an alpha state...this was before I ever knew anything about alpha or going to level. Warning: Not certain you'd want to sit through a P.Chem or Physics class with closed eyes, but it worked really well for that particular class. What's nice is that with hakalau now I can be at alpha with eyes open and pick up on a lot more information....and, more importantly, I don't get accused of sleeping in class anymore either :-) Lori , " Jason Rhone " <rhone@g...> wrote: > > > > >I will admit that I took very few notes of the actual seminars (I > >know most of it is captured on DVD) instead prefering to pay very > >close attention to what Doc does and says during the seminars. Hi Barbara Ann, Just a few suggestions... 1. Make a list of well-formed outcomes for the seminar. That is, what are your goals? Do you want to learn to see auras? Make thousands of dollars as an energy healer? Fix a health problem? Doc can do all these things... and every time I've made a list for one of his seminars, he has delivered it... whether I told him about the list or not... 2. At the end of each day, make a list of all you have learnt and write out a plan for practicing it when you get back home from the seminar. I cannot stress this enough. ** The best way to learn is to plan to continue doing the drills when you get home. ** Make them a part of your life and pay attention to your results. 3. Related to the above... perhaps Doc will disagree with me.... but I see seminars as giving you a method to solve your problems rather than solving your problems for you. I think people sometimes go to a seminar and think, 'I'll go here, solve all my problems in a weekend and come away super-skilled and competent.' To me, it just doesn't work that way. You might find out how to become super-skilled, you may get many valuable reference experiences and insights but then you must supply the hard work to follow up and turn that into mastery. 4. Pay attention. 5. Do the drills. 6. Buy the videos afterwards. 7. Don't think 'I can't', think 'If I could, how would I?'. Don't think 'that can't work', think 'If I could use this to make my life better, how would I?' 8. Be sociable, go to lunch and dinner with the other attendees. Teaching is not restricted to the seminar room. Have fun, Phil
