Shiva Lingam

I bought a beautiful Shive Lingam not too long ago. I feel that they are

very helpful in the raising of kundalini energies as well as for opening the

chakras for this experience. It is healing and soothing and makes a great

meditative focus. However, I believe it's most important ability is to give

us a sense that there is life in all things. " Everything is sacred " is what

these precious river worn stones whisper to us. This lesson is especially

important to humanity now as we reach a crux in our civilization with our

depleting resources and our treatment toward animals, plant life, and stones

that creates great disharmony within ourselves. Shiva Lingams can help one

open themselves to the sacredness of life in all its forms.

I bought a small one (about 1 inch, or 2cm) last October and use it in

combination with a tektite for a powerful, grounding jump start just

before I start any energy work. It combines male and female, earth and

water energy and the tektite provides a bit of that extra-terrestrial

kick! Quite a nice combination. As usual, I have found that what the

books say about this stone (which I love, by the way) is not how it

functions for me. Discover its purpose for you!
