Guest guest
my understanding is that you put the tongue on the roof of the mouth on the inhale and let it drop down on the exhale to rebalance/help central governing. You don't leave it on the roof of the mouth... To test it....you check it by pushing down from chin to pubic bone - in the air in front of the person and then test an indicator muscle) you are tracing central backwards, and it should weaken when you push down but it will stay strong if its overcharged....whether you go up or down to test. If its undercharged, the person will test weak whether you trace it up or down, and if they are reversed you get strong on down and weak on up. Doing the breathing with the tongue is a system re-boot but you don't want to over charge it, you want there to be will and surrender, inhale and exhale, exertion and rest... When people want to put their tongue on the roof of the mouth all the time, sometimes its a way of correcting an imbalance in the spine....I think Donna Eden talked about an older man who was sucking this thumb when he slept, and it was a back problem.. But the other thing they say about it is when you go into fight or flight the gates of the digestive system stop working, and moving your tongue with the breath helps relax that too....get saliva going, etc...its all good, Patricia
