Hi...thanks for reply. My computer has been down.

The pain is NOT in the bottom of my foot (like plantar fasciitis), it is in my

ankle, on

the side of my ankle, under the anklle bone, kind of in between the Achilles

tendon

and the ankle. It is not swollen, it does not hurt all the time. It hurts in the

night

sometimes, and, in AM when I first get up (like plantar fasciitis, i know, but

NOT on

botom of heel). It also hurts when I misstep off a curb and suddenly " pull " the

back

of foot. It is not tender to touch anywhere I can locate. There is no numbness,

no

tingling sensation.

Any inout appreciated. Its not getting worse, but, its not getting better either

That's what I find peculiar. I haven't injured the foot or ankle (to my

knowledge). The pain just " began " .
