Guest guest
Thank you for your information. I looked in vain for the information that would tell me what the stone is, (properties) I found only some generalized statements re: its effects. I'm afraid that when something is marketed the way this stone is marketed, I tend to discount it's actual value. Things that are real never need to be euphemised. They can be described directly. I once bought 2 expensive stone books by the same man only to find that they were simply funnels to a website where they sold ordinary (albeit seemingly high quality) easily available stones at enormously inflated prices & sometimes with cute-sy new names so people didn't know what they were. I never used those books again & never recommend them when I teach classes. It may have been just a bad marketing decision - but it felt really dishonest to me & that's what I go by. As far as Infinite goes, no one I know of has ever mentioned it. Can you tell us anything concrete about it? Evelyn

One of the mandala I have is of the old infinite which was kind of like an Eiliat stone with a couple of extra stones it was an Azurite -Malachite-Chrysocolla-Turquoise-Chyroprrase blend or something like that Whereas what they are calling infinite now seems to be a tan or light brown stone. Run as Shakti they are two very different frequencies. Guest guest
Peggy, The " old " Infinite you describe sounds similar to the Quantum Quattro Silica found on this page. http://www.newagestones.com/quantum/index.htm I thought about buying a piece, though I don't like to buy online all that well (except from Avalon, because I've bought there before). I am wary of the trademarked stones, I like the combination of minerals in the Q.Q. Silica, but think that trademarking it is hokey. Also, if the trademark owners are going around changing the names, or taking names of stones that already exist, in the case of Infinite. . .then how would you know if you're getting the right thing if you're not buying it in person? Am I the only one who shies away from trademarked stones? I missed the beginning of this discussion, because I'm new here. I'm Ahreinya, 29, SAHM to two darling little boys, the oldest will be 2 in early May, the youngest will be 1 in late June. I've collected many stones over the past 14 years, but to date only have one trademarked item. (Aqua Aura) I guess the main reason I stay away from them, is I'm unsure if the people marketing them really know the properties of the stone or if they are making up extra things to make a sale. Guess I'm a little paranoid because I don't know that much about it myself yet! I have a book or two on crystals and stones, but I can't say as I've read them very thoroughly. Now they're in storage, but I'm hoping to get them back very soon. Maybe I can learn a little more about them now that I'm not working all the time!! Guest guest
Hi All Well I would welcome the name of the author and the book, I cannot afford to spend money on books which the majority of peopel on this list don't like - I respect their views.... Thanks Crystal

I was wondering which author and books these were .One of the Crystal writers I've had negative experience with is active again but one hesitates to issue a blanket warning because some people do seem to value his books and get what they order from this person but I for one like to know if people have a bad experience with some teacher or seller. So I will say that I, personally, did not care for the books " Gifts of the Gemstone Guardians " and " Gemisphere Luminary " , bot written by Michael Katz. Conversations with the guardian of Ivorite, Roselle & Lavender, for example, are a little too heavy in story, and too light on information. It may be a function of my being a double Virgo, but I want some hard information when I look into what a stone may be used for. I know that I have 51 books on gemstones and have never encountered some of the names he uses, and if I wanted those stones I wouldn't be able to find them... oops, I forgot - they are to be had at the website of the author. Imagine that. If you are currently using this author & his info (some of which is helpful & valuable) then don't be discouraged, different people need different teachers. Just for ME, I wouldn't spend money on this again. Evelyn
