Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for the splendid hints. I tried the microwave and it did help although the disk doesn't really burn completely. Maybe they are not very good quality ones. I keep them in an airtight tin so perhaps they were damp to start with!! , " Ramona Adams " <ramona@s...> wrote: > Hi Angel, > I sell charcoals in my store and have learned a few tips over the years. Sometimes, they absorb moisture from the air and are hard to get to burn. Make sure that you store the opened charcoals in a tightly sealed plastic bag. You might also try putting the charcoal in the microwave for about 30-60 seconds before lighting it. This will dry up any moisture that may have been absorbed. The other thing that I usually do is wait until the charcoal is gray before adding the incense...sort of like on a barbeque grill. The only other thing I can think of is that you may be putting a little too much incense and it is choking out the fire. Hope this helps. > Blessings, > Ramona > > Web site: http://www.stonekeepers.com > ~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ > Online Auctions: http://auctions./booth/ramona_stonekeepers > > > >
