So, what's your point?

You pointed out all the NEGATIONS, and you seemed to totally miss

the positives.

Here, let me give you a few.

Yes, we do get old, and to get old, we first are young and we are

full of the juices of life and the vitalities of life, and the

wonderful joys of being young and experimental.

We all have the opportunity to be Jonathan Livingston Seagull, but

only one out of millions make it, and it's not because Jonathan was

special...

....it was because Jonathan had a dream and lived his dream.

Strangely, for us humans, most of us give up all our dreams about

the age of 27.

We lose our optimism…most get a job they hate, but because they must

pay the rent, blab, blab, blab...

....but a few, get re-motivated and, that few, understanding that

they only have absolute control over their own thoughts, then start

doing the drills to get the skills.

And they do this by living an Ideal, and then learning skills that

take them to that Ideal.

(NOTE: an ideal is a standard of perfection, beauty, or excellence.

And I'm talking about an Ideal from their individual reference

point, NOT from Mommy or Daddies, or the Church's viewpoint.)

Yes, we all get sick and die.

So what?

That's the last step before the doorway is crossed, and a necessary

step for our own growth. The body does wear out.

So what?

What about the all the years of growth, of health, of vitality, of

learning really neat things?

A school teacher can look back and realize that she has made a big

POSITIVE DIFFERENCE in many people's life.

An author can realize that he has spread his wisdom, his knowledge,

his entertainment skills far and wide.

(I was going to cover the topic of reincarnation, but it's getting

late. Maybe later?)

You mention that, " we all suffer loss, bereavement and sudden

change " .

And, this is NOT really so.

For many people the crossing over of a loved one is a joyful

occurrence.

It is a cultural thing, and it is a thing that can be changed in a

more educated manner...and it can be changed rather quickly, in a

matter of minutes, if one is willing to do the drill...to keep the

positive learnings...

Unfortunately most people are NOT educated in that manner.

And, " yes " , I do know that loss can be many things.

For example an injury cost me the loss of some of the super skills

that I had with my feet and legs…

....to me, that became a sign of, " what else can I do? "

It was NOT a sign of defeat, " gosh, I can't `xyz' anymore so I

should shoot myself! "

So it became a sign of growth, instead of a sign of failure.

And, the additional skills I achieved in the next year did bring in

many financial rewards, many physical rewards, many mental rewards,

and many kudos from those that are in my narrow fringe target market

as they learned to achieve the same skills that I learned because of

a loss of a specific function.

Please remember that the loss of a specific function LEAD TO the

development of a MUCH SUPERIOR FUNCTION!

Onward.

" Bereavement. " The suffering because of the death of a loved one.

Yes, this does happen and it happens because of the focus on the

loss, and would NOT happen if the focus was on the living and the

sharing.

In the movie, " Samurai " , the boy Emperor asked the Captain to tell

him of the " death " of his #1 Samurai. And the boy was sad.

The captain looked him in the eye and said, " I'll tell you about the

LIFE of the #1 Samurai " , and the boy Emperor was HAPPY!

One of my good friends was a lady, Jo Cristi.

Many on this list knew Jo.

Jo was an energy medicine student at many of the Eden seminars I

attended...In Florida, Boulder, Sedona...and Jo was accidentally

killed by the hospital making a mistake.

And blaming the hospital, or feeling bad about her was not a

positive way to go...not for Jo, nor for any of her friends and her

loved ones.

So I remember Jo, my co-student, the pure Water Element she was,

with the way she danced, the way she walked, the way she reacted

when she was a co-worker with me, and doing the drills with me in

the way she did the drills, AS IF I was still there, in the same

picture with Jo.

A person only feels bereavement when they make pictures in their

head and the pictures of the deceased person is dissociated from

them.

By the way, Jo is still hanging around, being the Water element she

is, knowing that many people are using the drill that she made up

that really helped her overcome her pain from an old car accident.

That energy drill is called the " Jo Cristi " drill.

You mentioned that, " I certainly don't see the resolution of

physical problems as a long-term winner's game " , then you gave

various reasons why you believe that away-from value.

Away-from in the above sentence refers to " reactive living " , and

does NOT refer to proactive-living.

And, reactive-thinking is detrimental to the longevity of the body.

Let me quote some of what Edgar Cayce has stated on the above, if I

may?

QUOTE #1. " Keep in mind that attitude of constructive, creative

forces within self. For all healing of every nature must arise with

the self. For there is the ability within the physical body to re-

create or reproduce itself, as well as the activities for

assimilating that from which the re-creation is to be brought about. "

QUOTE #2. " For all healing, mental or material, is attuning each

atom of the body, each reflex of the brain forces, to the awareness

of the divine that lies within each atom, each cell of the body. "

QUOTE #3. " ...the body must not, should not, lose courage to carry

on, but working in patience knowing that all healing, all help, must

arise from constructive thinking, constructive application, and most

and first of all constructive spiritual inspiration (here he is

referring to living according to your HIGHEST IDEAL). Use

(body)...disturbances as stepping stones for higher and better and

greater understanding.

QUOTE #4. " Fear is the greatest bugaboo to the human elements, for

in fear comes those conditions that destroy that vitality (the vital

energy) of that assimilated. "

QUOTE #5. " The mental developments should be in the direction of the

directing play, writing play, writing book, writing song (NOTICE

these are all proactive?)---for these may give an outlet of self to

manifest that which the body, the mental being may hold as ideal.

FIND AN IDEAL. Do not lose self in the individual nor in the self-

centered interest, but rather in that the body, the body mental, the

body spiritual may make an Ideal. "

Okay.

So now people are probably asking, " What's La Tourrette's point? "

My point is simply this.

What we think and what we say will totally influence, in a positive

or a negative manner how we live, how we behave, how happy we are,

how we mature towards our Ideals, and how healthy we are.

I suggest that everyone learn how to " think positive " , and I'm not

referring to the book, " The Power Of Positive Thinking " by Norman

Vincent Peale.

One method that will greatly enhance that " think positive " state is

to go after what we want, instead of thinking about what we don't

want.

It's the Law of Attraction all over again.

One way of doing this is by self-programming of the subconscious

mind.

Using positive mental programming, along with proper energy

technologies, a person can be sick one moment and completely

recovered the next moment.

I've done it. Thousands of Donna's clients have done it.

Millions of Jose Silva's students have done it.

Millions of Dr. Maxwell Maltz's followers have done it.

You can have the power to go to a specific theta level of mind (a

learned technique where you build bridges between normal states of

awareness and states of awareness NOT usually considered normal),

give yourself a self-suggestion to be healthy in a specific way...

....Or, to see auras in a certain way...

....Or, to create more blood circulation to a specific part of the

body...

....Or, to create more energy flow along certain Meridian pathways

for specific healings. By using specific mind technologies you can

learn how to change the entire nerve energy flow, in all areas.

As Huge Lynn said about his father, " Yes, Dad ate what he pleased

and occasionally he suffered for it. But then he would go into a

trance state and get up completely free of whatever he happened to

have. Dad always insisted that if he couldn't raise his vibrations

over a piece of meat that there was something wrong with him. "

Jose Silva also taught those same skills. And, for the past 26 years

I've been a part of Jose's teaching team, and a co-developer of some

of his trainings.

Thank you Jose for being there.

Thank you Edgar Cayce for being there.

Thank you Richard Bandler for being there.

Thank you John Diepold for being there.

Thank you Donna Eden for being there.

Thanks to all the ones that have helped humanity go where they are

meant to go.

And, THANKS to the original poster for giving me the opportunity

to " think about " what I've covered in my last three posts.

I love the opportunity to seach the mental archives of my learnings,

my beliefs, my values, my Ideals, and then hold them up to the light

of introspection to see if they are still currant and applicable.

Thank you.

Enough for one evening.

Sincerely,

John M. La Tourrette
