Yes, I agree totally on the above. > Find a good teacher though. One that can demostrate > the power of the art on the spot when asked. Yes, again, but with deep reservations. Here's why... Most beginners, intermediates, and even supposidely advanced students don't have a clue to make any valid judgements with... ....so when they look for a good teacher, they are normally attracted to a " smiling type " , rather than to a man that knows his stuff... Even more... ....a man that knows his stuff WILL NOT perform upon the beck and call of anyone! PERIOD! In fact if any one is pertinent enough to ask that of him, he will politely " kick him out the door " ... HE WILL CHOOSE HIS STUDENTS, and the student can never choose the teacher! > 'earl montegue's is a good place > to get an idea of what all this Qi gong gobbdly gook > is all about from someone that is both a master and a > grounded personality I disagree... I've studied his materials since he showed up on the scene...and, " yes " , there are good points, but, " YES " , there are also many, many points about what he states as gospel that " just ain't so! " I mean, anyone that gives as a credible source of a Dim Mak point a place that his child accidently slap him, and he felt it, and then calls it a point, I do not accept. Once you find a cockroach in a man's work, then finding more is very easy to do. Another point, a point NOT many people are aware of is... MOST TAICHI styles DO NOT have any dim mak training at all, and never did have that training. Their dim mak training rumors are like the rumors surrounding Aikido, and having Aikido being the best combination of Chi and martial arts prowess on the planet. It just ain't so! And, when it was still known as aki-jujitsu, back in 1937 and Ushiba's school was known as HELL SCHOOL...well, that's a different story. Aikido is NOT a combat art and never was. Taichi is NOT a combat art and never was. They BOTH are very good at teaching some other stuff... ....and they should claim what they are good at, and it is NEVER fighting... I suggest if you want to learn energy, and chi kung, then learn the Donna Eden Energy Medicine Secrets, BECAUSE it is valid, it is verifiable... ....and when you demonstate that HIGH LEVEL SECRET KNOWLEDGE to a supposite chi kung master, his jaw will drop all the way to the floor. And, " if " that chi kung master is smart, he will then dedicate 8-10 years of his life learning the Donna Eden Energy Medicine Method, and ADD THAT TO HIS CHI KUNG SYSTEM... ....because on the backside of all the healing drills, are the " forbidden " drills... ....and THEN HIS CHI KUNG will be among the MOST POWERFUL CHI KUNG ON THE PLANET. Gosh. I wonder who has done that tedious task? Dr.John M. La Tourrette > Shae
Guest guest
Yes! Great points Doc. ....And Shea, if you're listening in, Energy Medicine and Qigong are great compliments! Try them both together and notice the big difference. Just the five minute drill and meridian tracing are great. I do them as warmups. Sometimes I'll add on other EM drills as needed. I have my favorites. I'm getting better at telling which ones do what for me now. Learning more " forbidden secrets " every day. I've only been doing it for four and a half months so I wonder where I'll be in 8-10 years! Energy Medicine stands as a great " Magickal System " on it's own. Guest guest
This is great marketing. I have been pre occupied lately so have been slow reading many of the posts. Just read this one this morning and I love the gem that Doc has inserted in here. <snip> In fact if any one is pertinent enough to ask that of him, he will politely "kick him out the door"... HE WILL CHOOSE HIS STUDENTS, and the student can never choose the teacher! <snip> This is something Doc has mentioned before, create demand, desire and what better way than NOT allowing everyone. The most exclusive places ask the highest prices.. You do not need all,,,just the gems. Or the diamonds in the rough if they will work on polishing themselves Dave
