Guest guest
Hi Paige Thanks for your interesting observations. It brought to mind Robert Burns: Oh would some power give us the gift to see ourselves as others see us. And the idea that we all perceive ourselfs and the world outside our skin through our own unique filters. When I first took the test, I asked a long-time friend to do herself and me: She also identified me as Water. After your post, I retested and still came up with Water as prime, wood secondary. Earth edged into third. I'd like to become adept with the Chinese Element System. So, tell me more. And anyone else who wants to give input, have at it. What about my words ..... " genius extroadinaire; a true rennaisance man -- he followed his soul purpose, self actualized, wayfarers for others " ..... typifies them as Earth. About my disliking " saturnianish Capricorn ---that too staid and materialistic/reductionist.... punitive, duty-bound, hairshirt and good ole boy " controling sort of energy. " You said: " Those are pretty much Wood element characteristics and that stands to reason that you as an Earth element would not like those qualities. " Using Docspeed as a classic Wood: I'd say he has a strong Saturn as evidenced in his well developed discipline. Further, I find him practical and pragmatic, very typical of a capricornian energy. He could intimidate the hell out of me and could, if he so chose, agressively, with tough, alpha dog (dominant) energy, with a laser-like focus/decisiveness and directness point out my every looser's limp, the pre-sups behind my every belief, and know without my telling him that I often allow my earth traits of sympathy, nuturing, and supportiveness to erode my judgement and contribute to my indecisiveness. Such is his power and ability. These traits I admire (not dislike) and I'd be well served to cultivate them within myself. Docspeed could have me reeling were he to do that. Would I like it...well absolutely not. I'd probably have my feelings hurt and have myself a good cry. Would I hang tail and run away. I doubt it. Past experience tells me I would retreat (if at a seminar, during breaks) -- find an alone space in nature, be solitary, go through the high drama of experienceing every emotion triggered. I'd reflect and introspect and intellectualize; I'd be very serious with myself...Thats water so far. I'd analyze (to hair splitting degrees), examine everything said and how it related to every aspect of my life (metal); then seek counsel for understanding and perspective & reality check (don't know what this is). Then, finally re-sort; and as much as I could, accept truths, reject non-truth, let go/change; and ultimately derive some wisdom from it--- -more water. How would an earth process a " heavy duty change moment " ? Fire...etc? As to the rest of my statement: It may be Wood as you say, but its not the Docspeed I see; not the stuff of my heroes. Hairshirt: self effacing, self imposed penance for some supposed wrong-doing. That BS behavior. Heavy martyr energy. Staid, materialistic/reductionist: Ridig, repessive people, those who would enforce the letter of the law even to killing the spirit of the law. The kind of people who would have every full-of-life or bored-with-humdrum-cirricula kid and doped out on Ritalin rather than change the system. Punitive: Some one more interested in making you suffer for not adhearing to their rules, values, beliefs than finding a pro-active solution. On your turf, I will comply with your rules.....unless I won't, in which case I exit the scene. Eg: I won't cuss in front of your kids, smoke inside your house, etc.. But I won't deny my values & beliefs to accomodate yours (we can agree to disagree) or accept your rules when not on your turf. Punitive is when you want your rules to follow me off your turf and make me suffer/pay I do not. As to such as robbery, assualt etc.: Well, Jesus didn't say: Go to Hell; He said Go and sin no more. So what do you want -- some one to suffer/go to hell. Or Change/sin no more? Good Ole Boy-ism. A clinging to the status quo, even if archaic or bankrupt, resistance to the new and inventive. The kind of people who told Gates " nobody is going to want a personal computer. " Re: Your take on this list -- Water and Metal. Makes sense! So does your succinct analysis of how the elements relate to the tenor of this list. I really like your criteria for a hero. Re: HIS STORY, I disagree that thats " as it should be " . Until our collective consciousness (per Hawkings) goes way up, thats what is and will be. Rulers will continue to lie, spin, suppress or subvert any truth in the way of their self aggrandizement or agenda. A good thing? Look at the lunacy thats resulted in religion because some ruler found truth inconvenient. The point I saught to make was that you can't always (maybe never) trust history as taught. If you want the truth, be prepared to dig deeper and search out alternative info sources. . Re: Rebellion: Thanks for the English POV . True, I could energy test or remote view anytime/anyone. If I consistantly did the drills and developed competency in the skills. Excellent advice, Paige, I really like this: " Know yourself first....your strengths and weaknesses. Then be able to recognize the element of another person and then know enough about that element to know what motivates them....for whatever reason you are interacting with that person. " I'd like to see more discussion on the elements. I've learned a lot already, just in answering your post. g

I am noticing as I read thru it and ponder that lots of processes can be viewed more as WOOD, or EARTH, or METAL or whatever element. IT would be fun to sort out those metaprograms and see which elements would apply to it more. Mike Continelli

He doesn't make sense to me, and he bores me to death. At Doc's seminar he gave out that $600 course on metaprograms from the founder of the system, for free. That one made sense to me. Doc definitely gives lots of FREE STUFF at the seminars...FO SHO. I'll review those...there was quite a few material so...I'll find the ones you mentioned. Thanks again. Guest guest
Gail, > Thanks for your interesting observations. It brought to mind Robert > Burns: Oh would some power give us the gift to see ourselves as others > see us. That you would quote this says you care about how others see you...that's an earth element. Water elements would make a note of what others say and then just move on to something else. Waters have a lack of direction...moving this way and that. Unless something finally pushes them strongly in one direction, they are pretty happy with just " getting along " > What about my words ..... " genius extroadinaire; a true rennaisance > man -- he followed his soul purpose, self actualized, wayfarers for > others " ..... typifies them as Earth. Again, caring about humanity and the good of others, for others... > He could intimidate the hell out of me and could, if he so chose, > agressively, with tough, alpha dog (dominant) energy, with a laser- like > focus/decisiveness and directness point out my every > looser's limp, > Docspeed could have me reeling were he to do that. Water probably wouldn't cry...just take it, let it bounce off and go on. > How would an earth process a " heavy duty change moment " ? Probably have a good cry and then work their hearts out to help others see how things could be different for the good of all. Earths want others to see things the way they see things Fire...etc? Maybe burnout for awhile or blowup but probably catch another flame and burn in another direction. > As to the rest of my statement: It may be Wood as you say, but its not > the Docspeed I see; not the stuff of my heroes. Every element has it's positive energy (enhance) and negative energy (destroy). It's important to know both sides to understand where you are going and to understand and influence someone else's energy. > As to such as robbery, assualt etc.: Well, Jesus didn't say: Go to Hell; > He said Go and sin no more. Well, if you don't think it's right...become powerful and make your own rules. Everything is energy. Power is energy. If you really want to make a change and not just say things are bad...find out how to influence energy...study it, do the drills, BE AT DOC'S INTENSIVE in February. Buy the Trainers Day 1 and 2 DVDs, attend the Trainers 3 Day, become a trainer. Make a change. Don't just talk....do something about it. > I'd like to see more discussion on the elements. I've learned a lot See above... Paige
