Generally heat or damp heat either Sp Def or Ht Fire going via SI to Vagina is what I found. Depending on the degree of damp and heat I would suggest an herbal douche out of the 3 yellows esp. for but it can be a bit drying. I have had great success needling CV1 at its real location for itching and sores in the vaginal area when other things don't work. You must also do a regular treatments to restore balance but if she is very uncomfortable which is the usually thing then CV 1 can help for quicker relief. I leave the needle while I do the rest of the treatment. I have the woman put her knees up while I do the insertion which should not be painful and I use a light needle. Then she can put her legs down while you do a normal treatment. The full recipe for the douche is in Giovanni's GYN book. Hope this helps!! She may need more than one treatment and I only repeat CV 1 if she is still really uncomfortable and that is usually necessary.
