Thanks doc. I sensed that it was not fujin but sneaky physical movements that he was doing. After watching closely a few times I get wahat you mean.

Is this Real fujin in your opinion on these quicktime videos or is there trickery here too?

I understand that these are willing participants but are they faking or really being tossed by chi?

Doc and all,

A question has arisen. How does one CULTIVATE subtle energies and

put them to practical application - like the guy shown in the video?

For instance, with the radiant circuits energy....I'm looking for

ways to channel it for USEFUL purposes rather than just letting it

dissipate into the universe.

All kinds of ideas are coming to mind. For starters, I decided to

charge and program some water in a special way yesterday evening. A

lot of other things are starting to pop into my mind.

Seems everything boils down to " Doing the Drills to Get the Skills " .

I have a friend in the Puget Sound area who can do a lot of things

with subtle energies. He's a martial artist, does qigong, etc., and

owns a nightclub where I had my very first encounter with such things

a few years ago. Seeing what he could do intensely sparked my

interest and I never forgot about it.

One night a few of us stuck around talking with him after the club

closed. Then he excused himself and got up to do his nightly closing-

up of the place.

I thought I saw him doing something out of the corner of my eye that

made me really take a double look with a dropped jaw. I watched as

he went around to each table and put out the candle that was burning

on each one. He wasn't doing it the ordinary way though....

.....he stood about six feet away from a candle, opened his hand and

ever so slightly thrust his hand toward the flame. A few seconds

later the flame went out. No smoking candlewicks afterwards either.

It was completely extinguished.

He went around to each table, must have been 20 or more, and did this

time after time until all the flames were extinguished. I got up and

stood next to him trying as much as I could to figure out how he was

doing it. I couldn't.

When I asked him how he did it he said it would take me 20 years to

learn how to do that. Maybe that was true for him, but for some

reason I didn't believe that had to be the case. Maybe he was trying

to discourage me from trying or didn't want to teach me his

secrets?...but ever since then I was fascinated with subtle

energies.

Now in retrospect, and based on what I know now, it looked similar to

the way that energyballs are done, but with a lot more focus maybe?

What I liked was that what my friend didn't waste his energy. He had

a practical application. He said he didn't want to smoke up the

place with the smoldering candlewicks of 20 candles so he

extinguishes them that way.

Recently I was actually able to do energy balls....no success yet

with extinguishing candle flames though...

So....I asked myself this morning...if I were to find ways to channel

my energies for even more practical applications, how would I do

that?

Rusty,

What he really did is ALSO a high level skill, but a skill of

rooting, timing and balance.

I couldn't get them to play, so I'll attempt it again on my office

computer.
