Most of the time I no longer program crystals there is not usually a

real need to do so and even when one does You are not limiting or

restricting the range of the crystals abilities nor forcing the crystal

to focus or perform work against its will . Programming is a way of

enhancing communion and communication and of clarifying the reasons and

asking allowing the crystal to adjust and bring in the range of natural

energies which most benefit the particular desired work.

I would not say that it is better but what you describe below is not

really what I think of a a program as such its more of an affirmation

of protection and a commitment to integrity on your part. You are not

trying to make the crystal work outside of its own purpose but rather

making an agreement to work with the crystal for good and for healing. I

preface all my work with the intention that the work " do good or do

nothing " Most crystals will work to the highest most benificial good

they can do and then will go to a nuetral non active state when done

working.

Jacquie,

 

i find that crystals, particularily clear & smokey quartz, will

program themselves almost automatically. You use them in a certain

way or for certain tasks and they tend to adjust to the useage.

 

On the other hand, I have a lavender quartz which seems to resist an

influence that its own. By that I believe that it is a master crystal

with its purpose too strongly implanted for change.

Hi Jacque,

I have not found it necessary to always program a crystal. For instance, when

someone comes into the rockshop with a problem and they are drawn to a specific

stone or even several of them, I take it that the stone(s) are ready willing and

able to be of assistance to that person -- no programming needed.

 

When I use Reiki to " clear " crystals, I say: " I send Reiki through this (these)

crystal(s), cleansing it, re-energizing it, dedicating it to the light and

programming it to ..... " . That works for me.

 

I also have crystals or know of crystals that have their own idea of what they

want to do. And they do it, wondrously, of course! Really no need (or no use)

trying to program those. If what you want from the crystal is in alignment with

what the crystal wants to do anyway, you are in luck! It is not likely a

crystal will accept programming which would bring harm to one of us " softs "

anyway, or that is the information I get from them.
