The following I do agree with somewhat. My comments follow. >40. Learn to relax. Spend 20 minutes consciously relaxing each muscle of your body. This is a form of progressive relaxation (1932 Jacobson based upon Schultz's 1918 Autogenics) and 'releasing' " IF " done correctly. It should be taught, even if only the use of an isomorphic metaphor is used. Experience is best. It will NOT take 20 minutes. Even when FIRST learned it takes only 26 minutes for adults and children can learn it almost instantly. Then once learned it literally takes an adult only a second or two because it is then a 'habit' triggered by a code word, or by an intention. >41. Spend 20 minutes a day in silent meditation, prayer or contemplation. This should be taught. And to mediate needs proper steps to get there. Why 20 minutes? Different things you focus on takes different time periods. >42. Learn the healing power of laughter. Watch a crazy movie, recall a joke or read a funny book and laugh out loud. This is good. My question is, how do you take that radiant energy into your body so you can use it? There are simple and effective technologies to do so. The Radiant Circuits class by Donna Eden will suffice for this. >43. Tap the powers of your sub-conscious. Relax your body for 20 >minutes and project the Perfect You on your mind screen. This is the same as #40 and #41. Needs much explanation. One of the better sources for this type of realistic explanation is " Your Mind " by Henry Reed. >45. Join kids in a sports activity and rediscover the joys of childhood. For many people there were NO joys of childhood. They would need to revivify other 'joys'. I would suggest they rediscover the joys of new and wonderous things. Rediscover the joys of sharing with others who unconditionally appreciate you and what you do and are. Study " anchoring " . >51. Listen to soothing music for 15 minutes at least each day. Depends on what 'soothing' is to you. For example I love the rhythm of Charlie Rich or Elvis, depending upon the song. Most music that is considered soothing I consider boring. Boring is a turn-off, and is not even relaxing. My point being, listen to and absorb that which turns on YOUR radiant circuits. There is NO perfect health. There are actually 4 General Ways to Great Health. The 4 general ways are: 1. Circulation. 2. Assimilation. 3. Relaxation. 4. Eliminations. Of course a book could be (and has been) written about the specifics of each general area. Study " The Edgar Cayce Handbook for Drugless Therapy " by Reilly. Thank you for the neat thought provoking post. John La Tourrette, PhD
