Guest guest
Today I went to see a new therapist who practices Su Jok acupuncture. I am concerned to read elsewhere that you can be trained in under three days to do this form of acupuncture. Should I be, and has anyone here had positive results from this therapy? Secondly, he used micro-needles to stimulate points on my hands, taken from a jar in which they were submerged in 98% alcohol. He assured me that they were new, and gave me the needles in a vial filled with alcohol to take home and bring back for my next treatment. I am uneasy about this approcah to need storage on his behalf - should I be? I have had traditional acupuncture on many occasions, and have always had needles taken from sterile blister packs which are then discarded in a yellow bin for hazardous medical waste. I've moved areas, and am desperate for pain relief for fibromyalgia and CFS, and am due to have another appointment tomorrow, but feel uneasy..... J.
