Guest guest
Hi folks, I have my first forms competition coming up pretty soon, and I'm almost completely prepared. Just a few fine-tweaks to the forms and they will be quite nice. Mentally I am sharp and focused, and any pre-comp jitters are easily dissolved via EFT and EmoTrance. Gotta love the energy methods. But my question revolves around fast muscle recovery. Last night I trained rather hard, and because of the very low stances the forms require, my legs feel quite stiff and leaden right now. Normally I train in a soft, relaxed manner and stand higher, but the competition requires more 'oomph', which has taken a bit out of me and my legs in particular. I'd be very grateful for some recommendations for helping my legs feel 'fresh' again. When I feel fresh I can do almost anything, but towards the end of my last training session I was stumbling a bit and couldn't go as low as I'd have to. I'm gently stretching and squatting lightly, taking a lot of Vitamin C and deep-massaging my legs, and I'm wondering what else I might be able to do. Rebounder? Neurolymphatic drainage points? Thank you very much for any advice and instructions you can offer! Elroy
