Guest guest
- K. Lo I wanted to say that I hope I didn't come across as a militant former nursing mother. *g* That wasn't my intent. LOL, no, not as " one of those " . I actually have a good friend who belongs to a real group with a similar name, though! She b/f her daughter till she was almost 2 years old (and may still be doing it, we seem to have lost track of one another). Even though she knew my feelings about my personal case, she would stamp around yelling at moms who bottle fed (we belonged to a parenting list). She meant well, I know, but it still got to me, even though we were good friends. It just feels like sometimes people overlook the fact that it isn't always a choice of convenience or patience, is all. I'm sorry that you found it difficult, Alia; just know that I do know how you feel. At first, I didn't know that there was something wrong with me, I just thought I wasn't doing it right, etc. It wasn't until I had my second son, that my Dr. theorized that my ducts were malformed. It's fairly common, really--I looked it up online for further reference, and found that it occurs in most women who have hypo-plastic breasts (which means " underdeveloped " ; not necessarily small, but not properly formed/developed). My apologies again, to all who don't care to see this converstation prolonged on this list. . .I promise, I won't comment further, and we can get back to the topic of the list, ok? Blessings to you & yours, Ahreinya
