Isn't it funny. If I call the process of reconditioning how a person responds to a stimulus 'anchoring' then it's pseudoscientific NLP. But if I call it 'classical conditioning' or 'behavioural therapy', then I'm validated by science. Remarkable. Anyway... Doc has often told the story of helping out a woman with her phobia through anchoring... after $10,000 of clinical psychology had failed to do the job. (You may like to consider the ethics of taking $10,000 off someone without actually delivering any results.) Or you could try surrogate tapping. Anyway, expelled all my venom over this particular topic now. Have fun, Phil
Guest guest
?What do you do with a client who has a phobia ofmaking pictures of themselves in their head? - Is the 'phobia' preventing this or is it merely a pre judgement that this experience is somehow unnnatural or threatening? "If you didn't have this phobia what could you experience?" rusty - Rev.
