Guest guest
I am wondering if anyone has heard of using amonia to clean coloring that does not belong from stones and gems. I was recently shown how to ask the stones if they are colored and if they wish the color removed so on and so forth. I Know that some stones it harms to soak them in chemicales, for instantce I have some beautiful agate's that are still very strong and want the color removed. does anyone have any idea how to do this saftely, and or how long to soak them to revitalize them and help them regain more of or all of their full potential without the polutants. thanks Angelina

I have NEVER heard of cleaning crystals or stones with amonia but I do know a gentleman that does lapidary and I will ask him what is the best way to clean dyed stones and I will send you an answer hopefully. The harm done through dyeing stone spirits, which does, in fact, cause damage, is likely less than the damage that would be done by trying to reverse the process through chemical soaks. Relatedly the pollutants in the dyes are no more harmful than the harsh chemicals that would extract them. There are no effective, safe and, equally as significant, respectful process to reverve the coloring of stone spirits. The process of dyeing stones is often complicated and I don't believe a chemical soak would remove the color and would, in all likelihood, cause significanly damage to the stone itself on all levels. Many stones will not only be damaged, as you said, but will also absorb some of the chemicals. The more porous stone spirits will also likely retain the chemical smell. In the end chemical soaks are more prone to complicating the problem and compounding the damage. From my own experience treated stone spirits (including those dyed, heat treated, irradiated, stabilized, treated in the " Aqua Aura " process and so on) require a lot of extra TLC because these " enhancements " are both unnatural and quite damaging. I believe the best way to restore these spirits is to Love them. The damage done by these harsh enhancement may never be fully reversed, but, I feel, Love is a kinder, gentler option than another equally harsh treatment aimed at removing the original enhancement. Guest guest
I tend to agree with you, I figured I would ask before I even do anything. I had some woman tell me I had to get the die out,she was adament about it even asked my stones if they wanted to be soaked in amonia. I ask and they dont give me a straight answer and so with asking the questions different I dont believe they want the color out and they relay I can heal them. I have had another sugestion that I should use acetone and I wont even let that stuff in my house. I would have thought that this sounds so weird years ago, I know too much about radionics and energy work now, and the power of the stones personally. I dont normaly buy colored stones, the ones I have called to me loudly and I couldnt leave without them. Even with the die they feel full of energy and strength. they are beautiful (I will try to post a picture of my 3 agates,I have 2 males and 1 femail) They seem to resonate calmness, peace and are very soothing. yes I am adicted to stones. hook line and stone weight Have a happy and keep smiling Angelina
