As you may know, I've been interested in NLP, hypnosis, accelerated

learning, clear thinking, Psychegenics and other Mind Sciences for

well

over fifteen years. I have nearly every seminal book in those

fields, and

I have done quite rigorous personal experimentation and testing of

method I've come across. I like to test what I learn and find out

things work for me.

helped me make great friends, make money, have harmonious and loving

relationships and just have fun. But the path hasn't always been

years. I would have circumvented much trial and error in my

practices if

I'd had access to a group like Mindlist, with the helpful and

productive

input of many experts and fascinated personal researchers.

 

I've also been studying and practicing energy methods for that time,

too. Applied and Educational Kinesiology, pranayama and Western

four-fold

breathing, auric expansion and contraction, chakra work, qigong, the

Middle

Pillar and 'laying of hands'. In more recent years I've been

getting a lot

of fun and benefit from, EFT, EmoTrance and other Energy Psychology

methods.

 

Because of the nature of Mindlist, my path in Energy Psychology and

Energy

Medicine has been much easier. On Mindlist we have skilled

practitioners

and recognized experts in these areas, including Silvia (Starfields)

and

Doc La Tourrette, and their input has been truly invaluable.

Without their

help on Mindlist I would have spent years doing trial-and-error

work,

wasting valuable time trying to understand basics and get a

foundation.

 

So I was extremely pleased when Doc recently started a list devoted

to the

exploration of energy methods and healing,

called 'HealingEnergies'. While

there are many benefits of being a member of such a list, including

having

access to likeminded, enthusiastic and knowledgeable practitioners

and

experts, getting instant guidance and feedback on one's practices,

or

mining the archives for new ideas that could make ALL the

difference, IMO

the primary benefit is one of FOCUS.

 

Because of Mindlist's broad nature, things can get a bit 'diffused'

at

times. Sometimes we have a period of focus on one area, but this

often

gives way to something else. This is fine for many cases, but what

if you

feel a growing need to concentrate on a specific topic like energy

methods? What if you are getting more curious about what they can

do for

you, or have some new discovery you want to share, or perhaps share

in the

discoveries made by others? What if you have a question that NEEDS

to be

answered and you NEED the input of a number of people whom you know

will be

able to help you?

 

That's where you need focus. That's where the likeminded people

come

in. And if you are wondering how energy methods can help you in

your love

life, your finances, your social life, or even more spiritual

pursuits like

communing with higher energies and reaching deeper levels of

meditation,

this is a powerful place to be.

 

I've been mining the archives at Doc's new list and there are some

EXTREMELY useful techniques, directions and ideas therein. It has

only

been in existence for a few weeks but it has been going like blazes

since

then, and I'm sure that there will be much, much more in the future.
