Guest guest
Hello Greetings. Gary Graves <ggraves wrote ( #4980 ) > Dreams are often filled w/ symbols, symbols the unconscious mind uses to 'attempt' to communicate. How would I, you, or anyone else know if my meaning would be the same as yours? The way to figure that out would be for you to go verify my meaning for yourself. So instead of me telling you, then you going and verifying it, how about we save some time and effort here and have you just GO FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF! - > The belief that all symbols in dreams (or anywhere else) are all > the same for everyone, in my opinion, is a big pile of BS. I agree. Now I'm wondering. Instead of starting to keep a dream journal and verify the meanings, why don't I install dream symbols ahead, then interpret the symbols. Is it possible ? If it is, in what way ? I mean how it possibly occur ? This is just like you have a German - English dictionary to transfer the story ( let's say " A Christmas Carol " ) written in German to English. ( So you'll understand. ) Let's say, THE same story, " A Christmas Carol " , written in Greek, you use a Greek - English dictionary to transfer. So if you use a different dictionary, the dream you see during a sleeptime can be a different ( scene ), but what you understand from two dreams are same....... " A Christmas Carol " is " A Christmas Carol " . I'm not sure this is about dream or anything else. ( what is it then ? any conbinations of psychic ? ) By the way, just a fun thought. When I want to be rich and find an oil field in oceans. How do I want to do ? by dowsing ? R/V ? ( Self ) Hypnosis ? all of above ? looking at a nautical / hydrographic chart... ( When I get bored, it's a knid of fun. ) Have a good day. English is not the first language to me. If there are mistakes/ spellings, excuse me. Sincerely, Masako P.S. I was looking for the further posts from David who wrote about going on chemo. It's in Jan, he wote. I was in doc.'s different group. Hoping everything's fine for him.
