Spirit to me follows what EC says. It's the energy field that causes

us to be alive (on this plane and other planes) and vitalizes the

And I have snow -- one word, but Alaskans have twenty two different

words for snow, so I have heard. And then there are some words many meanings

and on top of that, factor in one's filters and frame of reference.

 

I once debated with a friend for an hour till we stopped and defined our terms,

and found we acutally were in total agreement.

 

I also beleive as EC indicates above....

I use the word SPIRIT for life energy, and A SPIRIT, or SPIRITS,

for lack of a better word, to designate a human-like non-corporeal entity.

 

And even that isn't accurate as they have a body, a subtle energy body not a

dense physical (flesh) body. This -- in my definition -- would include shadow

people although I have no idea what they are.

 

I do think I did once see one, momentarily,out of the corner of my eye. At

least what I saw fit the description given for a shadow person. Non human like

energy beings I call critters.

And what are orbs --and rods.

 

I have seen photos of what people say are orbs or rods but have never seen one

myself.

 

 

After they passed: I felt my father pass by and got the impression he had just

left his body and was not coming back this way. I felt my grandfather hanging

around (off and on) for three months. I saw my grandmother coming into the room

(but in my surprise I changed states and she was gone). And I got mad at my

mother 'cause she

never came to bid me farewell -- unless she was the one that made my

bathroom light flicker -- and I told her that could be just a bad wire, so if it

was her,do something different. Well, nothing.

 

Seeing things of this nature happens so seldom in my life, and not by my will

so I don't have a lot of experience. Just information based on what others

report of their experiences or studies. If you say it or Cayce says it, I most

likely take it as truth. If I " get " it.

 

And, more likely, and even then its a random and rare occurence, I won't see

but will " sense/feel " the presence of an energy form with intellegence or

willfulness, most usually a dark and heavy or malicious feeling presence. And

once I felt " evil " -- an energy so dark and heavy and oppressive. But I knew it

was an energy feild not an entitiy And looked to see who it was emanating from.

 

So if if feels like energy in the same way sunlight feels like energy,

I call it energy. If it feels like it has consciousness and

will, what ever these " things " are, I call them spirits or critters,

or sometimes " a presence " . Has anyone

published a taxonomy of spirit creatures (other than the nature

spirits--Machell Small Wright). I think

the Rosicrucians mentioned something about several grades of

elementals that could be

commanded in ceremonial work. But they spoke primarily of elemental

beings....

and it was decades ago that I read that, so my memory is vague. And

Bailey mentioned elemental beings

but gave very little information on them.

 

What was that " thing " that came across

the street after me and my friend.

We were delivering the phone number of a house cleaner to a neighbor.

I had talked to one person I knew of but she called

me back and said that what ever was there, it was out of her league,

to call someone else. So I did and he said okay and to

give the neighbor his phone number. We were delivering the number by

hand as his phone was not working.

 

 

We were halfway across the street when we felt it advancing toward

us. We both,

at the same time, stopped dead in our tracks, cut our eyes at each

other, then without a word, began backing up to the beginning of my

driveway. At which point she turned

and ran for the house; but I got indignant and told it no way was it

coming on my property and to be gone. If ever I had

read something about protection from spirits, or some holy name to

call on, thats what I did. Every single one I could remember... in

rapid fire order. Something worked as it retreated.

 

It was huge and felt so dark and menacing, and amorphous -- So, what

name do you give that kind of energy " thing " -- or the other such

" things " . Some people say they have seen ghosts, and use that term to

indicate the presence of a once living person. Except for my

grandmother, I have never seen a ghost.

 

I think there were / are some very adept, and knowledgeable shamans

( " holy men " /

" wise women " ) in all indigineous peoples, including Native American

Indians. So was Wikipedia

wrong. The Indians did not use saging for warding off evil

spirits?? What then did they use it for? And what is that

" something " else you refer to that sage is good for (if other than

breaking up with negative energy accumulations).
