I personally find Amber very helpful in my work.

I wear an amber heart pendant at my throat, and amber heart earrings, nearly

everyday, but especially when the hotel is full, and I know I'll have the

requisite ~2~ disgruntled guests, and/or my boss is on a rampage! I find amber

helps me stay calm, keep my mouth shut, and my feet out of it!

I am a Leo, if that has anything to do with it, but whatever, I've been told

that " not everyone can wear Amber " ... and I find that I am totally DRAWN to it!

Not green or milky Amber, however... only dark honey amber. (I think the green

and milky are pretty, but I don't " like " the thought of wearing them)

....that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

A good friend of mine is an Aries (with other planets in Aries) and

he is very bonded with Amber. Maybe it's a fire sign thing?

I have been using jewelry as a way to carry stones around for years. My

parents were into lapidary when I was growing up, and so jewelry has been a part

of me forever. About 15 years ago, I awoke to the reason that I loved them so,

and that was that they were speaking to me and doing things for me. Since then,

I have been very conscious of what I put on, when, and all that. This last

year, I have come back to making jewelry, and have discovered that it is really

a passion with me. I have developed a chakra enhancement line of beaded things

that people really seems to love, as well as gearing pieces toward individual

chakras or a desired effect. I'm having lots of fun with it, and always leave

the workbench energized.

Have you cleared, repaired, amplified , and or personalized the ring yet ?

Few stones stay inert when this is done. it t is possible that the stone does

not have anything you need at the moment or and I really think this

might be it the vibration of the stone is so closely in accord with your own

viration that you are unable to sense it at this time .

The energy of Silver and moonstone combined is often very subtle and in my

experience often comes to a person does its work and then rapidly moves

on

Hi Peggy,

Yes, I have done that. I have some tumbled pieces which have awesome energy,

but the ring has none. Everyone who feels it says it is the silver blocking it,

but I didn't know silver would do that. I don't understand it.

That certainly seems strange usually moonstone and silver have been very

mutually supportive in my experience but I do vaugely recall reading somewhere

that as the Earth vibration changes that old metal correspondances will

change

You could try using the numerical power settings to run the silver at only .01

and the moonstone at 10 that should tell you if it is the silver blocking the

moon stone

if you had the tools to remove the moonstone from the silver you could check

that way

I personaly tend to pull the stones out of most jewelry to use them directly as

stones and have not had any moonstone set in silver for quite a while

Thanks Peggy!!

The silver was too strong. I decreased the energy of the setting and increased

the energy of the stone and it feels great now. Thanks for figuring this out

for me!!

<< Many people feel that the stones worn on the left side have to do

with receiving energies and that stones worn on the right side will

primarily influence projective matters and outside issues >>

A good thing to remember is to balance the energy you are receiving

from stones/jewelry. Scott Cunningham mentions the importance of

this in his book CRYSTAL, STONE & METAL MAGIC. Although I read what

he said, my understanding was only conceptual. I found out, through

experience, exactly what he was talking about.

I wanted to tap into intuitional energy and so began wearing three or

four moonstone rings--the result was I became super-sensitive and

rather thin-skinned. Stones possess either projective or

receptive energy and moonstones radiate receptive energy. It dawned

on me what was causing my extreme emotional sensitivity, and I

realized that if I wore those rings I had to wear or carry stones

that had projective energy. I began carrying two pyrite pieces in my

pocket, pyrite is projective and grounding at the same time. It

worked just fine.

This is a very good point . We do need to work on our whole self . People

often have a tendancy to concentrate attention on one area of developement

over another . That is why I tend to focus on fusion rather than polarity

..We are better served by balancing intuitive with intellectual / physical

with mental spiritual with mundane etc. this is crititical to true

wholeness and well being.

Some spiritual traditions ignore the lower chakras and seek to supress or

reduce the hearty, physical and so-called " lower aspects " of being. Other

people ignore everything except the physical rational aspects of life . The

happiest and the most enlightened people I have met have always been well

rounded and balanced.
