Guest guest
Back pain can be treated effectively w/ accu treatments. The line along the back of the leg is good for sciatica. I have a few stones that I have picked up of different sizes and I place them at key points and lie down on them. Massage is another way for back pain. fkissam <fkissam wrote:I am interested in finding some of the best acupressure or acupuncture points to use for backpain. The backpain is very painful when bending forward to pick up something from the floor. What book or website best explains the proper points for each DIFFERENT type of backpain. For example, there is backpain from twisting action rather than the backpain that is worst from bending forward to pick something up. Thank you. Guest guest
Good back pain points are distal and acute: general: UB40, UB57, UB60 Backpain from twisting: Yang Wei Mai points and LI 10 Backpain from bending forward: DU 26 chronic and local: UB12-16, UB41-45, SI14, UB18-19, UB23-26 For self massage on upper back pain, I like to tell patients to lean up against the corner of a door sill/jam almost a squatting position with the door jam in the romboids and levator scapula area. This way, the patient can apply appropriate pressure to knots in back. For lower backpain, I advise patients to find a sturdy horizontal bar. Usually hand rails of an entrance at a person's place of employment or a bank or parking lot are always at the right height for some reason. Lean back on bar and twist from side to side. Be careful not to put too much pressure on the spine though. This will work their Latissimus Dorsi, Serratus Posterior Inferior, most importantly erector spinae. If a partner is handy, massage and tui na is always king. Also, I ask patient to lay down flat, then bring knees to chest and have partner sit on top of knees to stretch low back. Ooohh feels good. --- Hoang Ho <twomtns2002 wrote: > Back pain can be treated effectively w/ accu > treatments. The line along the back of the leg is > good for sciatica.
