Also a theory supporting the classic pairing of each master point to the eight trigrams( by Xu Feng in the ming dynasty) I have never been able to find a strong theory supporting them. These 8-EV channels pairings and their associated trigrams were introduced in the Ming Dynasty by Xu Feng with no supporting theory. It has been a mystery for alomost one thousand years. I have just finished a new book explaining these relationships using the He Tu, Luo Shu, Early-Later Heaven Ba Gua and Nei Dan theory, I have revealed a theory explaining it all. The 8-Extra Ordinary Channel book explains the classic parings and their trigram pairs as presented by Xu Feng in the Ming Dynasty, it deals only with the 8EV and their 8-master points. I Ching Acupuncture does not reference the 8-EV or 8-master points at all.
