Hi!

I am not sure where you are writting from so I don't know if you want to

practice in Korea or the U.S. However, I have been in the field for 20years and

for me Acupuncture and healing are a calling and I believe that if you follow

your Dharma (life's purpose) you will always do well. If you want to go into the

field primarily to make money you can do that to but it is not the best reason.

Good Luck!!

Korean or not, at the current time, most acupuncture work comes from

building your own practice.

Hi,

YOu say that many Korean acupuncturists do not have a job. I wonder

what that statement is based on. Do you know this for sure or have

you just listened to your friends. Are your friends in the

acupuncture business world or are they repeating heresay. If you are

serious about being a professional acupuncturist you would do well

to find out facts. Whether you can get a job or not you can still be

a successful acupuncturist by building you own business as has been

suggested.

If you need any help on resources for building your business email

me at bazzfinch and I will try to help

Best wishes

Barry

I will try Korean Hac bao kung? The market for accupuncture in the US is

fragile but growing. If you are good at what you do you will suceed, but there

are many accupuncturists that are not making it. They operate out of their home

on a part-time basis. Good Luck

Dear Hoang Ho,

Maybe it is a bit more to it then just being good at what you do.

Some have the inclination to be good business people others less so it is

complicated...

Also which type of environment purely privet practice or any other setting?

But of coarse Hoang is very much right, if one could be so bold to say that if

you work hard you will succeed but then again what is success anyway?

You must be really involved both in what is Chinese medicine-Oriental medicine

and willing to always study theory-methods and experience and so forth know when

to do what and so forth, and of course have a real interest in treating people

and participating in there health-healing journey...

This of course have nothing to do with weather you are Korean or not, and if you

happen to speak an Asian language if used properly is a great advantage to enter

the world of Chinese medicine...

Hi Everyone

Have a look at a website whose aim is to help acupuncturists build a

successful practice. They have free marketing tips and articles like

this one

http://www.100kacupuncture.com/articles/mark_feast.html

This article was written by Steven Harold author of 'Marketing for

Complementry Therapists - 101 ideas'. You can get this soft back

book from http://4Marketing.go.to

It has helped me
