An excellent list - I think most of the ones I know are unsafe are covered

here ... but I also learned a new one in amazonite ... i've only ever used

it once that I can think of in a gem water; and that was for myself for

arthritis (so maybe I needed the copper!!!) ... however, will make a note

from now on that amazonite stays outwith the carafe !!

The other copper-containing stones on the list have copper at a major part of

their chemical make-up.

In amazonite, copper is only present as an impurity to the feldspar, thus making

it look green.

So, you could have done a lot worse mistakes than making an elixir of this :-)

But to be on the safe side, I agree with you that this one should also stay out

of the water :-)
