Guest guest
The bladder meridian has two channels that go down the back. One is about 2 inches from the spine, the other 4 inches. The outer points are not often used in most clinics and are typically done for " spirit " issues as opposed to physical symptoms. At T9 is the Liver back Shu point UB-18. At T10 is the Gall Bladder back Shu point UB-19. At T11 is the Spleen back Shu point UB-20. Closer to the spine is a line of extra points (i.e. not on one of the major meridian systems) called Huatu-Jiaji points. These points are only 1/2 inch from the spine and are more often used for spinal nerve issues. I hope this helps. Christopher Vedeler L.Ac., C.Ht. I would like to find the best place to determine what organs, nerves etc.... are controlled by Thoracic 9,10, and 11. If somebody knows of a great site for dermatomes or Chinese Acupuncture that shows this in the best manner .... I would be interested. I have Googled some sites that give skant information. Thank you.
