Guest guest
Please don't toss them! If you're in Phoenix, there's probably lots of folks there who would be interested. I'll forward your message to the AZ Acupuncture list. Catherine - zooky Sunday, September 24, 2000 2:19 PM Free books A few years ago, I bought the entire library of Robert A. Anderson, LaC, LosAngeles (deceased). We are gearing up to move from Phx to Washington state. The books cannottravel with us (failing eyesight makes it impossible to read books anylonger). Many of these books are in Chinese (they deal with acupuncture & herbs). Before I toss them in the garbage, perhaps there is someone thatwould care for them? The books (soft cover) are free, the "buyer" would needto pay S & H. Please do not ask me for details on the books, they are totallyin Chinese, I know only a few names of herbs, etc., in Chinese. As such, Icouldn't answer any questions, at all. Included are two books in English:Clinical Manual Of Chinese Acupuncture: Diagnosis & Treatment; and, KoreanConstitutional Acupuncture - an analysis of its origins in the Chineseclassics. These are optional. Happy to pitch them if no one wants them. There are about 49 free books.I am currently cataloging the other books (over 200), that are in English. These I will be selling for a fraction of their original cost. If unsold, they will be donated to a college, or something. Please contact me, via private e-mail, if interested. I really would like tofind a home for these books instead of just throwing them in the dump.ThanksSend instant messages & get email alerts with Messenger.http://im./The Chinese Herbal Medicine, a voluntary organization of licensed healthcare practitioners, matriculated students and postgraduate academics specializing in Chinese Herbal Medicine, provides a variety of professional services, including board approved online continuing education. The free books have already been spoken for (as luck would have it, they went to students - I'm happy it turned out that way - anything I can do to help them get started on a library is fine by me). As for the catalog, that is taking me longer than expected (failing eyesight from the stroke prohibits me from working on it very long). I'll post a message to this list when the catalog is ready. Again, thanks for the HUGE amount of responses that I have had for the books. Photos - 35mm Quality Prints, Now Get 15 Free!
