How do i find a good acupuncturist?

Hi All!!

I am hoping that someone will be able to help me..... i have a severe

sinus problem. They flare up whenever the weather gets cold or if the

atomospheric pressure changes... even slight drops in temperature

(like in teh evenings after a warm day) can cause severe headaches if

i'm not careful to wear warm gear. I was told acupuncture could help

me. I know that it can do miracles because almost 20 years ago it

cured my mom of spondalitis (she was told she would have to wear a

collor around her neck to support it for the rest of her life) in two

sittings of 20 minutes each and she's been collar free for the past

20 years or more.

 

My problem is that i don't know how to go about finding someone

really good who has experience in sinus problems (or is that not even

an issue.. i don't know).... i would rather go by recommendations if

i could.. we live in northern california; the bay area. Any

advice/suggestions/ comments are very welcome.
