The amplification program only turns up the volume of a crystal, it doesn't make it work any stronger. It's going to work the same as it did, we amplify it just so we can feel it clearer, perhaps so we can figure out what it's good for! Just our own perception (or, someone else's) of it. Of course, I've just been playing around with my own here, trying different facets of the attunement (pun intended) on my own crystals.
