Guest guest
Greetings... I have a question...how do you make an elixir? Do you just place a stone in the water...smash the stone into tiny pieces or what? Thanks. Also, thanks for the listing of stones " not " to use. Pat H. Imprinting the subtle healing energies of crystals onto water needs no special equipment just focused attention , intention and sunlight. Most often Gem elixirs are made by placing the cleared stone or stones chosen in a clear glass or crystal container with pure water and placing this in sunlight for several hours. Two to four hours is common, though on a very bright sunny day at noon full charging can occur in as little as half an hour and on overcast or cloudy days it can take much longer. The file is much longer there are alternate methods for making gem elixers that do not require soaking in water Peggy -- http://solarraven.com/ Huna, Crystal healing, Reiki manuals, mandalas, Energy Work Classes http://home.attbi.com/~skygreen/index.html / Spirited emotion} http://members.tripod.com/~sunsparrow/index.html

I sometimes just place a clear quartz - my favourite - in a jug of pure spring water and use this for drinking or for making up my flower essences. The toxic list is an excellent reference but I find it safer to stick to the very hardest stones like quartz. I learnt my lesson a long time ago when I bought a quantity of rough malachite for jewellery, and decided to give it extra 'polish' in my tumbler. Unfortunately I forgot it - as I normally run my tumbler for weeks at a time - and when I remembered the malachite I found that my 250grms had dissolved into 100grms worth of chips and the water resembled pea soup!! It was a salutary lesson in soft stones, and I have been very careful since to grade my stones not only into size, but also into hardness. For one of my essences I place the covered jug of water and quartz under the light of a full moon together with the flower I am using. Evening primrose is one of my favourites for it's help with all female problems. I then leave the essence within a quartz crystal grid circle to mature. crystal rainbows Karen
Guest guest
Only using quartzes is very wise, in that way you keep safe :-) Also, the quarzes are very powerful and have excellent energies, so we dont miss out on too much if we don't drink any other elixirs. The other stones can work in so many other ways :-) Love and Light " Ametrin1 " Hi Pat I make gem elixirs as well as gemflower essences, and only ever use quartzes. Guest guest
Dani, There is no way to go wrong, just remember a lot of the Stone Spirits can be toxic. Use the indirect method. Tumbles should be find. L & L, Cee , Dani Song <destinysbeckoning> wrote: > > Hi, I'm new and just wanted to say that I'm happy to have found this group. When using a stone for an elixir, can you also use small polished stones? > > ~Dani~

It is not always possible to get accurate information about the toxicity of stones, water can damage some stones and bits may break off etc. Energy methods can be used to make excellent elixirs without risk. You can use small polished stones but instead of immersing them in the water you should choose another method . Some methods are to use a nested double container or you can you set the stones outside of the water container or run the energy of the stone or crystal into the water with a shakti (energy frequency) or by intention as you hold the stone against the side of the container of water. Guest guest
Hi everyone : ) Lately i have become quite interested in making gem elixers myself. Iv got a couple questions. 1. Using the gem elixer shakti, i will make an elixer....what do i do next if i want to preserve it, and can i preserve it just like i would with one that had been done with the imersion methode? 2. How long will an elixer that does not contain a preservative like alchohol, retain its origional vibration. 3. What are the differences if any between an elixer made with an energetic methode compared to one that uses sun/moonlight and immersed stones -- _ Play 100s of games for FREE! http://games.mail.com/
