Guest guest
I guess it depends on what context you look at deservingness, or more specifically, how you frame it. Does eveyone deserve to have knowledge that can be used to increase health and happiness in there lives? Again, it's up to the individual. If person A doesn't feel as though he/she deserves it, then they don't deserve it. If person B is convinced that they deserve it, then they deserve it. If the person has complexes that causes them to feel unworthy of deserving, because of suggestion given to them during childhood or by growing up in conditions that indicate otherwise, then they might feel as though they don't deserve it. Do i feel that i deserve to be privy to information that can help to make life a little easier and more enjoyable to live? YES:) When you think about it, we all want health, happiness and wealth, whether we are conciously aware of it or not. Then there's the issue of having knowledge and being able to apply it. Even if a person was privy to said information, would they be able to use it to make things better for themselves? Or better yet, would they be WILLING to use it? There are those that would say that if they don't use it, then they don't deserve it. For instance, my mom was begging and praying for a new dryer. She's from jamaica and she's used to hanging thing on the fence to dry them. Now, she has the dryer she's been praying for, but she won't even use it. Does she deserve it if she's not using it? Whose to say that she does or doesn't? Why do i feel that i deserve it? Because I FEEL THAT DESERVE IT:) Because i'm WILLING to use knowledge to make life better for me and friends and family. I don't know if it's a good enough answer, but it my answer:) Amir Campbell ______________________________\ ____ Music Unlimited Access over 1 million songs. http://music./unlimited

Guest guest
My thought would be to develop a course containing the basic skills and insights, that you expect all your students to acheive in order to learn from you. Break the course up in to multiple segments, and require them to do the drills (your most important lesson) and report back on their experiences to the group before giving them the next segment of the course. That way you know your gifts aren't being squandered. John On 11/6/06, docspeed2001 <docspeed2001 wrote: Do YOU qualify for a FREE $200 Gift? Not all the ideas are mutually exclusive Some of the other posts appear assume that you’ll put a download up on a web page for anybody to get – I noticed a theme in my ideas that restricts the who and the when. Bottom line is, if I start editing the list, this post may not make it out at all Hope it helps Vince Melling ******************************************** 1) My first post – as a promotional tool to sell the more valuable products 2) Christmas / Holiday presents 3) Occasional Rewards to the group 4) (or you could make it bootcamp-style course and use it as an occasional punishment assignment!) 5) To add to the toolbox you give to the trainers you certify 6) Perhaps you want to spread the word about energy medicine more widely – given the shortcomings of conventional medicine 7) Perhaps it is in your life’s purpose to do this (perhaps like the lady who was charging only $20 and would not take more that we discussed on the healing energies list) 8) You may want to save group members from wasting money on other cheap but inferior products – and build your brand loyalty 9) As a bonus to the RV/RI CD’s – or as a later follow up (e.g. supply a voucher with the RV/RI CD’s redeemable, say 3 months after initial purchase) 10) Make it into a deal – with expectations that the student creates some value for the group in return – and when they do, that entitles them to further rewards 11) Make it a file/download exclusive to the groups and accessible only to those you approve – purpose is to raise the training level of your groups and the quality of the postings
Guest guest
Hi Doc, This is a fair offer and as you know I often find the REAL TREASURE is doing the actual homework regardless of whether you are still offering a product, etc. to sweeten the deal I will look for a post I did on EFT and why I like using it and repost it here soon, if that's ok with you. In the meantime... You ( similar to the Powerful Sub Conscious Mind ) respond best to EFFORT, Repetition, etc. You feel good when others learn yet you don't feel the need to share with just anyone. When a person has high standards and others meet or exceed those standards then it is a win/win situation. So rather than just giving something for free ( could be percieved as no or little value ? if not done correctly as an entry level product to up sell clients... ) you want them to EARN their skills and knowledge because then they feel they DESERVE the changes, skills, etc. Much in the way I do for my Hypnotherapy and Date Coaching Sessions. The clients MUST do a minimal amount of things to show me ( and more importantly ) their Sub Conscious Minds that they do REALLY WANT the RESULTS. "Do the Drills, Get the Skills !" So I will do my best to make the time to contribute to whatever homework you give us ( and this gift you are offering sounds Excellent and will be much appreciated Michael Twomey - docspeed2001 11/6/2006 8:28:00 PM Do YOU qualify for a FREE $200 Gift? Guest guest
Whether one qualifies for a Free $200 gift lies in your hand, Doc. It's the criteria you set. Not from the readers' perspective. "Why in the Hell should you?" ...It's your self talk, Doc... But then, "Why in the hell did you wonder?" ... Where did your thought come from? What stirred up this emotion in you? What is it that you seek? What is it you want to achieve? Why did you even think of putting together a freebee course when you said pure give aways attract only the low life suckers.... Hm... That's INTERESTING to know.... Will you let us know? It's up to you. (For other readers out there, start your RV/RI... ) Do you have to let us know? NO. Unless you want to. Do I want the free gift? You bet, I WANT IT. I am not a low life sucker, so let me know if there is anything else I can do/offer in return... - docspeed2001 Monday, November 06, 2006 5:09 PM Do YOU qualify for a FREE $200 Gift? Guest guest
OK, I've been trying to determine the answer to this all day long. While I want to believe I can recognize quality without a price tag attached to it, I doubt I'm that advanced regarding the work you do, Doc. So I probably don't qualify for a free $200 gift. So the other question is why the hell should you put together a freebee course? Hmm, you don't need to do it for marketing because you've got people traveling all over the world and paying to train with you. You've got people all over the world buying your DVDS and training manuals, so you have a market who will willingly pay. You have no respect for people who want something for nothing, and you know how working to learn and paying to learn might actually be the same thing for some people. In my limited view, it seems that the only reason to give a freebee away would be as an experiment, to see who would come out of the woodwork to take you up on your offer and to see if they would do anything with the course. I'd love to hear your thinking on the subject. --- docspeed2001 <docspeed2001 wrote: > Do YOU qualify for a FREE $200 Gift? Guest guest
HAHAHA I remember when you used to give these free offers on other lists, back before we had your lists to to. It's funny because I was thinking about that the other day and wondering why you never posted any more of your " Free Valuable Gift " posts... I don't know how many people replied off list to you back then, but I always thought it was funny how few people had the guts to reply to the list to be able to get a VALUABLE GIFT, just by answering the questions you posted. Maybe some day I will tell what I learned. Or maybe not. :-) Jim >docspeed2001 <docspeed2001 >Nov 6, 2006 8:07 PM >mindmastery-essentialskills >[mindmastery-essentialskills] Do YOU qualify for a FREE $200 Gift? > >Do YOU qualify for a FREE $200 Gift? Guest guest
Hi Doc, " … A FREE gift on how to get what you want, regardless of what it is? ... how to energize your own body and mind to become who you want to be?… I am often thinking that I should put together a freebee course, just for the hell of it… " This is a considerable undertaking. If anyone else proposed to do this, I'd doubt them - not you though. I have no doubt that you could deliver and that it would be exceptional. " ...then I ask myself, " why in Hell should I? and I never get a good answer. " I think it was you who said: " The FREEBEE would give them something positive to experience your work by... and would also give you the opportunity to add to that FREEBEE routine, " what else " they could do that would help them... " To be fair, you also stated that: " BUT...doing the FREEBEE just for alturistic reasons (unselfish interest in the welfare of others) seems, in real life, to be self defeating for two primary reasons. REASON #1, that will not pay the rent, nor buy food for yourself or your loved ones. (Me: from what I've read this is not a problem for you and therefore isn't relevant.) REASON #2, if it is free, than there is no incentive for the ones attending to actually place any value on the skills you are teaching. " (Me: Perhaps it's the quality of the teachings or the skill of the teacher because much of the history of the members of this group seems to be at odds with this statement.) Just recently you gifted Sandy with " a real good FREEBEE . " I can only imagine how happy that made her and that she will use it. I don't think she will put any less a value on it because it was a " FREEBEE. " When I joined CE several years ago, some members were still trying to get a copy of a centering cd that you'd given away to members the year before. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't on either list at that time. The fact that the centering cd was free didn't appear to diminish it's value in the eyes of those who did receive that disk. Far from it. Before that, you gave anyway a FREE $197 Marketing Secrets Newsletter subscription because: " This list is a good list... " I'm hoping you still feel this way. " Anyone have a good answer on why I should? " This is mine: Like a good visionary to plant the seed and see what you've created. Isn't that really what it's all about? You do enjoy stirring things up. It's quite a learning experience watching a expert amp up interest and participation in this forum. I bow to you as a master. It really is too late to protest about giving things away for free anyway. Thanks for the gold and gems you've already shared.
