The phrase is "You are as happy as you make up your mind to be." I guess it's not the external circumstances that dictate our happiness. It is a choice and a decision to be happy no matter what, and thus chores or weather, or other people really are not responsible for our happiness or lack there of? I usually feel a bit dumb Doc, when you ask what your posts are about.....I guess I ought to be able to read more between the lines. I suppose my thinking is that only you know what your posts are about, and we, who try to decipher them, will do so according to our own mind reads, based on who we are and what criteria we tend to operate under. I would be curious though if you did spell it out, just this once what you meant......sorta like a confirmation or a guide by which to read your posts by with less "dumbness" on my part. :-) Paulina

You may have started your day, like this: You Woke Up, Gathered your thoughts and Your wife asked if you would help her outside. You said reluctantly, OK. You got dressed, went outside and said, " Holy Shit...Its Too Damn Hot Out here to be working outside. Your wife, may have convinced you to stay and help her and stop whining. You calibrated yourself. You realized she might be right. You noticed your self talk....and changed it to... If I COULD enjoy being outdoors, working and enjoying the Great Day, How would I? The rest is history..... Am I close at all?? Richard The Water Element and Mind Freak from the Badlands of New Mexico. > >
