1. Training contents: Help the trainees to master the needle

scalpel therapy in the treatment of the following disease: injury of

ligamentum nuchae, injury of levator scapulae, injury of splenius

capitis, cervical spondylosis(atlantooccipital fascia contracture),

Subdeltoid bursitis, injury of supraspinatus muscle, injury of

infraspinatus muscle, injury of rhomboid muscle, scapulohumeral

periarthritis, radiohumeral epicondylitis(tennis elbow),

inflammation of condylus medialis humeri, carpal tunnel syndrome,

tenosynovitis stenosans of musculorum flexorum, strain of inferior

segment musculus sacrospinalis, transverse process syndrome of the

third lumbar vertebrae, injury of gluteus medius, piriformis

syndrome, injury of subpatellar fat pad, malacosis of patella,

medial collateral ligament of knee joints and bony spur of

calcaneus, etc. Through the combination of class learning of theory

and clinical practice, we endeavour to make every individual trainee

to master the operating techniques of needle scalpel so that you can

apply them on clinical practice independently.

2. Training dates: 2006.8.25¡ª2006.8.4

3. Eligibility: All medical practitioners in the field of

internal medicine, pain-treating, soft injury, anaesthetics,

physical therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, surgery, acupuncture

and moxibustion, osteopathy of TCM, rehabilitation and Chinese

traditional manipulation are encouraged to attend this program, and

those who runs a private clinic and those who are interested scalpel

medicine are also welcomed. This stage of program is in English.

4. Arrangement of courses: Seven days will be allocated for

learning basic theories of the needle scalpel medicine, during which

the indications, contraindications, basic operations, acupuncture

syncope and anesthesia, etc. will be emphasized, followed by

lectures addressing the basic application of needle scalpel on the

common and complicated diseases affecting a wide variety of body

sites including the neck, shoulders, back, elbow, wrist, hands,

waist, buttocks, knees, ankles and feet. Two days are allocated for

anatomy of needle scalpel medicine and one day for clinical

demonstration. There are 60 classes in all.

5. Instructors: Zhu Hanzhang and other famous physicians in

needle scalpel medicine will give the classes and will offer their

expertise and all they know to everyone. The teaching styles

consisting of lectures and demonstrations will help the trainees to

witness and experience the marvelous efficacy of needle scalpel

therapy. We will invite those physicians who have made achievements

in this field to communicate with us, sharing their successful

experience and unique insights. The instructors will answer all the

questions raised by the trainees and guide them for further

exploration and research in this field.

6. Teaching modes: There are such teaching modes as lecture on

theories, demonstration skeleton, differential diagnosis by X-ray of

typical cases, mimic clinical interview, internship, complete

demonstrative operations and clinical demonstrations.

7. Certificate and credits: Certificate of Completion marked

with the official steel seal of Beijing College of Acupuncture & TCM

will be issued by the Training School of Beijing Hanzhang Needle

Scalpel Research Institute along with credits of CME(type¢ñ). Those

eligible will be recommended to enroll the International Needle

Scalpel Committee. All the trainees may enjoy life-long subsequent

services.

8. Tuition: US$1998 Includes fees for the lectures, teaching

materials and demonstrations.

9. Application: Anyone who wish to attend this program should

fill in a form(vide infra) and e-mail it to

sweetdreamjing, and we will reply it in time.

10. Registration: Registration is appointed on July. 24, 2006.

Please submit the following materials on registration: a copy of

your Technical Title Certificate or diploma, a copy of your

passport, two 2-inch photos(bareheaded), personal resume and your

professional experience summary.

11. Accommodations: We will arrange them for you at your

expense.

12. Notes: Please take your own white coat, hat and mask;

otherwise you should purchase them at the registration office.

When the class is over, you can choose to join the specific tours on

your own expense.

13. Others: Every student will be provided with a delicate

autograph album of completion and teaching materials. Medical

equipments and materials including needle scalpels are also provided

at a favorable price.

All medical practitioners and anyone who are interested are eligible

to attend our program.
