It got thinking aobut everyone's different self-preservations. > It also reminded me of a time about 12 years year ago or so, I went out drinking, hadn't been in quite awhile, and being a single mom, I needed a break, sent the kids to the grandparents, and went to the local bar. Brought some people home after closing time and we sat around my kitchen table for few more hours. then everyone left, made sure, made sure I locked all the doors, put wood in the stove and went up to bed. I woke up with this guy sitting on top of me, grinning. I knew this guy, he was notorious for this. I was Angry, yelling what do you want? I knew. How the Hell did you get in, I checked all the doors???? The F*C*B just laughed and said I know how to get in. So we wrestled around a bit I got hima off me and pushed him between the wall and the bed, he was struggling to get back up, I was pissed and drunk and tired just from that and thought I had to do something else. So when he popped up really angry, I changed my attitude, and started asking him questions > about his kids, about some other stuff, things I knew that were his fault but made like I was on his side, the F*C*B. calmed down and thought I was really sincere and layed down next to me and hugged me and held my hand, and we talked for maybe 2 hours, then he made a date with me and left. nothing happpened. I called some friends and had them tell him to stay awayy from me, I wasn't going on the 'date'. > Then I hear form a friend that he was telling them that the F*C*B thought I was 'the 'one'. ha ha ha. I just played a part to get out of a situation. I would look on that time and think how I thought 'I' won. But I diddn't really, Lillie's post brought me to think of this and then I realized the point, the aspect that has plagued me many a night, the evil grin, that laugh,, the " i know how to get in'. I was'nt confronting that that really pierced my security in my home, even though i was able to get away from what could have happened, i was still stuck there, not knowing all this time. That was a pretty big break thru for me. > > So thanks again Lillie, and Doc thank you for all your time and help you have given me, I have tools to see this, tools to deal with this, and tools to use to become the person 'I' want to be. > I am truly grateful. > > Lillie Reibold <lfr3 wrote: > > > Well, there certainly seems to be a theme going on in the posts recently and > into real life.
