Crystals, rocks and their properties have always been of interest to me and I have a small collection of them, most found by myself all over the US. I find that they'll `call' me on occasion and usually it's for a reason. I'm looking forward to learning here, and getting to know you all. I've been studying Reiki for about 6 months now, thanks to a good friend who opened my eyes with a distant treatment. I was attuned level two about a month ago, and am hoping to be attuned Master/Teacher by the end of the year. The website my friend recommended for study was solarraven.com. :-) I've always been able to 'feel' energy, so my first Reiki experience was like coming home. It felt so familiar and warm that I was startled at first, then very happy, smiley, kind of overall feelin' great the entire day after the treatment. So far I've taken advantage on the free attunements offered by GRR, and when my wallet permits, will do the in-person attunements offered close to my home. The next bit of study for me will be the varieties of Reiki other that Usui. Personally, I'm a 57YO single again guy who's owned by a 5YO lab/golden retriever mix named Toby who's become a Reiki junky. I have 3 sons, 2 grandaughters, and a grandson on the way. North central Wisconsin is home although I'd really rather be much farther north. If anyone would more info about me, or to chat, my Messenger sign-in is the same as my email addy. Namaste!
