Well I’m not sure. I’ve never tried doing it that way. What I do do is I hold my NVs and make sure I’m a calm state before I start the IDD. This is usually enough to keep the TW from kicking in. If that isn’t enough and I start freaking out...I’ll stop for a second. Hold NVs and calm myself down. Then continue with IDD. Another option is to physically hold your NVs. Then go into hakalau or to level and use the IDD psychically. That works real well too. >2nd Part: I heard from my father who also started studying energy psychology that if one >doesn't have the ability to do any energy testing to find out all the different aspects of an >issue to tap out; it is simply enough to simply tap the desired change everyday for a month. >For example, if one has a problem of intruding images trying to get in whilst doing >visualization exercises, to simply tap in the reminder phrase " 100% control of my mind, >thaughts and visualizations " once a day for 30 days? >My question is; how acurate is this and how does this method compare to doing the IDD the >conventional way with an energy testing buddy? I’m not that familiar with Energy Psychology. By “tapping in the reminder phrase” do you mean the Cranial Tap? Or is it a totally different technique. As for finding all the aspects of a problem, I’ve found that getting out a piece of paper and pen and writing out the issue and all the related issues you can think of helps tremendously. The act of writing it out forces you to organize your thoughts and feelings and lets you look at them with more objectivity. Usually after 10-15 minutes I can narrow down the problem to the core issues and tap them out. I’ve also found that the act of using the IDD itself will reveal any related or deeper issues. What I mean is that sometimes about half way through the sequence I’ll suddenly have a realization that the issue I’m tapping out isn’t the main issue. Or that the issue I’m tapping out is gone and there is another that is holding me back that I never noticed before. Sometimes this happens during the process. Sometimes afterwards. If there’s a lingering feeling of “something else” still missing after using the IDD, I ask “If I knew what else I need to tap out, what would it be?” These are the things I’ve found worked for me. Go do the drill, play...and find out for yourself. Have fun, Mike
Guest guest
This is something that I asked Doc in one of my 1-on-1s with him last November (embarrassingly I only just finished transcribing the 2nd one last week). On 26 Feb 2007, at 19:55, young_rver wrote: > I have a two part question on performing the IDD alone, without a > second person to hold the > forehead NV or to do the energy testing for SUDS and related > aspects to " tap out " . > > 1st Part: Can one perform the IDD as effectively by holding the > forehead NV with one hand > and doing the tapping sequences with the other, one tapping point > at a time? Doc said that if you are doing the IDD process alone you should start by using both hands to hold the forehead NV points until they are in balance (whilst thinking about the issue you're working on of course) - this would usually take from 2 to 5 minutes. You would then proceed to rubbing the sore point, as normal. When you tap the points on the head you can keep one hand holding both NVs and tap the points on both sides of the face simultaneously with your other hand. Obviously you'll need both hands once you start tapping the K27s and other other points on your body, but it shouldn't be necessary to hold the NVs at that point anyway. I produced a mindmap for this process which I've just sent to Doc. When I first bought the IDD DVDs I was a little annoyed that there wasn't a chart included for me to follow, but in retrospect I should have been studying and mapping it out myself. Only took me 15 months! Now I just have to start using it. Peter PS. Just spotted my bad language when talking about using the IDD - ie. 'have to start'. My first alternatives phrases were 'must start' or 'need to start', neither of which is particularly motivating! Better to say, 'now I'm excited at how easy it will be to change negative patterns and start bringing wonderful things into my life'. Amazing the way we can self-sabotage ourselves sometimes. Guest guest
>1st Part: Can one perfrom the IDD as effectively by holding the forehead NV with one hand >and doing the tapping sequences with the other, one tapping point at a time? Here's what I do: 1) I say my setup phrase as I massage my neurolymphatics 2) I "hold my head" as I continually say my setup phrase until I feel something shift energetically. This can happen quickly or take several minutes. - when I say "hold my head" that means I put one hand (gently) over the front of my head, and the other hand over the back of the head. 3) I then say my setup phrase as I massage, etc. and do the rest of IDD normally. - Joe W

Thank you! > > Adriaan > Adrian, Do you have the IDD DVDs? I think Doc did cover that in the DVD. He talked about CONTROL and such and just doing what you need to get done. In the examples of people that we worked on, he showed what IDD is and wha it ISNT. Have you done what your Father said? If you did, what result did you get. And by the way, it sounded like your statement from you dad focused on NOT KNOWING the aspects to tap out. If you did knwo the aspects to tap out, what would they be? Also on top of that there are SO MUCH TECHNOLOGY that DOC covertly put in that DVD set. BLOWS my mind away. For me, I would do the proper research and would actually get the proper resources. Having those DVD's to me is PRICELESS. I would want to MAKE sure that people get their INFO directly from the source material ....without filters from other posters ....without translations from other posters ....and getting it and reading it with my own filters. ....then at least I can figure out how to fix it up. IN any case, have fun. MIKE

Did you get an answer to your Energy Testing? I wasn't sure if you ended up getting a buddy. It was only last night that I posted when I did IDD with my special someone and somehow I was messing up the 2 arm etest. So I asked myself what I know that we could use for the SUDS. ....so I did BODY pendulum. Maybe DOC can provide clarification of verification of correct Body Pendulum for getting the SUDS. Anybody else in the group used Body pendulum to get the SUDS? Or maybe other techology to get the SUDS reading? One thing came to mind with the 30 day suggestion from your father was in the IDD when Doc talked about theta.... ....but that maybe a different thing altogether. ....worth checking out though. I think DVD 2 of 3 in the 28 minute mark. Gotta go. Going to do Part 2 of sessin with the special someone. INSTALLATION. I LOVE HAVING TO WORK ON THOSE I LOVE. and by the way Ardian, if you haven't had the chance to see DOC at a seminar it may be a good idea. ....having gone to my second seminar with him ....really interesting the stuff you pick up ....especially when your awareness is THERE JIA (AKA Mike The Canadian Eh!)
